Chinese traditional ink figure painting has gone through a long process of development,experienced several generations of theoretical exploration and creative accumulation.Under the influence of western thoughts,Chinese painting has grown rapidly,which has also greatly influenced Chinese ink figure painting.Contemporary ink figure painting,as a branch of contemporary ink,originated in the 20 th century,after the trend of thought of 85.Although it occupies a very important position in the current stage of Chinese ink painting creation and has its own relatively independent art system,contemporary ink figure painting is a new thing that has only developed for decades and is still in development.Development is always accompanied by change.Based on the background of art and culture in the new era,this paper explores the transformation of the formal language of contemporary ink figure painting.There are four parts in this paper.The first part mainly discusses the development of ink figure painting,including its social background,development process,etc.,so as to infer that the development of ink figure painting is the inevitable choice of the development of the times.The second part discusses that the social and cultural background and life style of contemporary Chinese ink figure painting are different from those before,which leads to the change of the form and concept of Chinese ink figure painting,taking Lu Chen,Li Xiaoxuan,Lei Ziren and other painters as examples.The third part analyzes and discusses the creation and development of several representative contemporary painters,mainly Tian liming,Zhou Jingxin and Liu Qinghe.Their works,with their unique form language,have aroused people’s extensive attention and in-depth thinking,and have profound social significance and far-reaching influence.The fourth part is about the influence of contemporary Chinese ink figure painting on my painting creation.Through the analysis of several representative contemporary Chinese ink painters and the learning of contemporary Chinese ink figure painting,I find my own creation direction.
