The Influence Of Peer Circle Culture Socialization On The Pro-social Behavior Of Wa,dai And Han Teenagers

Cultural socialization is an important part of ethnic socialization.It refers to the process in which teenagers learn a culture and develop a sense of belonging to the cultural group.At present,the study of cultural socialization does not involve the cultural socialization of peers from different ethnic groups,that is,inter-clan peers.This study wa,dai nationality and han of teenagers as the research object,to survey formed under the background of multi-ethnic company circle type,and peer social circle culture questionnaire,the purpose is to explore adolescents peer circles of Chinese mainstream culture and native culture and other culture and other relevant information interaction,and further investigate peer socialization of culture and ethnic identity,the relationship between prosocial behavior.In this study,a theoretical model of peer circle cultural socialization questionnaire was constructed by referring to the dimensions of questionnaires related to cultural socialization,and the initial questionnaire of peer circle cultural socialization was compiled by ourselves.Meanwhile,the ethnic identity questionnaire of Phinny and Ong was used to investigate 968 wa,dai and han teenagers,with 771 valid samples.The data were randomly divided into two halves for factor analysis.The exploratory factor analysis shows that the questionnaire on cultural socialization of peer circle consists of three sub-questionnaires with a total of 46 questions.The questionnaire of other ethnic cultures includes two dimensions: cultural symbols and behaviors,cultural attitudes and history;The questionnaire of mainstream culture includes two dimensions: the core socialist values at the individual level(honor and disgrace view)and the core socialist values at the ethnic level(national view).The results of confirmatory factor analysis show that the fitting index of the cultural socialization questionnaire of the peer circle,which consists of the questionnaire of the ethnic culture,the questionnaire of other ethnic cultures and the mainstream culture,meets the requirements of psychometrics.The r value of correlation coefficient between the total scores of peer circle cultural socialization questionnaire and the total scores of ethnic identity questionnaire is 0.49.The kronbach scale coefficient of each dimension,sub-questionnaire and total questionnaire is between 0.79 and 0.95.The second study investigated and studied 771 wa,dai and han teenagers by using the self-compiled questionnaire on cultural socialization of peer circle,ethnic identity questionnaire and prosocial behavior questionnaire to investigate the information characteristics of cultural socialization of peer circle and its relationship with ethnic identity and prosocial behavior.The results show that :(1)in the cultural socialization of peer circle,the honor and disgrace view scores the highest;Secondly,the national view;The least conveyed information is the cultural attitudes and histories of other peoples.(2)different types of peer circles have significant differences in gender,grade and ethnic group.(3)there are significant differences between male and female students in their own cultural attitudes and history,as well as cultural attitudes and historical and national views of other ethnic groups;There are significant differences in the cultural attitudes and histories of the youth of different grades in their own ethnic groups,cultural attitudes and histories of other ethnic groups,and national values.(4)there was no significant correlation between altruism and cultural attitudes and historical dimensions of the ethnic group,while there was no significant correlation between urgency and cultural attitudes and historical dimensions of other ethnic groups.All other dimensions were positively correlated in pairs.(5)the direct influence of peer circle cultural socialization on the prosocial behavior of adolescents is not significant,and ethnic identity plays a completely mediating role in the influence of peer circle cultural socialization on prosocial behavior.The research mainly draws the following conclusions:(1)The cultural socialization reliability and validity of peer circle compiled in this study are good and meet the requirements of psychometrics,which can be used as an effective measurement tool in the study of cultural socialization of peer circle among adolescents in ethnic areas.(2)The cultural socialization information of peer circle includes six types: the cultural symbol and behavior of the ethnic group,the cultural attitude and history of the ethnic group,the cultural symbol and behavior of other ethnic groups,the cultural attitude and history of other ethnic groups,the concept of honor and disgrace,and the national concept.(3)the cultural socialization of peer circle exerts a positive influence on the prosocial behavior of the youth of wa,dai and han through its positive effect on ethnic identity.
