The Research On Dumas Phenomenon In Contemporary Chinese Ink Figure Painting

With the diversified development and integration of art,the Dutch painter dumas brings a new artistic experience to the audience with his unique ink and wash works.Especially after he participated in the Shanghai biennale in 2000,his creation method has inspired the creation of many domestic artists,and it is believed that dumas may explore a new direction of Chinese ink and wash figure painting.Thus it can be seen that although dumas art and Chinese contemporary ink figure painting are fundamentally different in the expression of ideas and techniques,they are similar to each other to a certain extent.This paper takes this as the center to analyze the expression of dumas phenomenon in contemporary ink figure painting.This paper mainly discusses the dumas phenomenon in contemporary Chinese ink figure painting from four aspects.Firstly,through the comparison of the thoughts,emotions and expression techniques of Chinese and western art,this paper analyzes the similarity between dumas’ s painting and traditional Chinese figure painting in concept and picture,and then analyzes the internal reasons for the formation of dumas phenomenon.Secondly,this paper analyzes dumas’ unique creation methods from three aspects: aesthetic rules,expression techniques and ideas,and analyzes the innovative ways of contemporary ink painting based on the characteristics of contemporary ink painting.Thirdly,by means of case analysis,this paper discusses the expression form of dumas phenomenon in contemporary Chinese ink figure painting and explores the emotion and connotation of dumas phenomenon.Finally,it is concluded that dumas phenomenon,to some extent,dispels the constraints of traditional Chinese ink figure painting creation paradigm,and stimulates people’s expression and thinking on the new creation forms of contemporary ink figure painting.
