| This is a translation report.The source text is Between the Media and the Reality:Wang Yufang,which features oral text and is selected from The Oral History of Ashima Cultural Heritage’s Inheritors,and this book was published in 2016,and there is no English version in the market.This chapter interviewed and recorded intangible cultural heritage inheritor Wang Yufang,to show inheritor’s living condition and Ashima intangible culture.Under the guidance of Eco-translatology,this report analyzes translation process from the aspects of adaptation and selection,and three-dimensions.Adaptation and selection can be achieved under translator-centredness in order to obtain eco-balance,which can be seen from lexical aspect,syntactical aspect and rhetorical aspect;three-dimensional transformation can be analyzed from linguistic dimension,cultural dimension and communicative dimension.After this translation practice,the reporter finds that three dimensions highly conform to the source text.This translation report applies specific translation methods to translate source text.The reporter hopes to realize Ashima intangible cultural heritage protection in this nationality and provide a preference for further related translation tasks. |
