Feudal princes during the period between the East and West dynasties.Fortunately,in recent decades,many batches of Huang bronzes have been unearthed in archaeology,especially those with inscriptions.Based on the previous research results,this paper extensively and deeply investigates the regional characteristics of Huang bronze ware in the aspects of shape,decoration and inscription,and discusses the history of Huang combined with literature.The text is divided into five chapters:The first chapter synthesizes the Huang bronze wares from various sources and uses scientific methods to summarize them as a whole,which can be divided into three categories: definite time and place,unknown time and place and correlate.In the course of the study,the complete Huang ware of time and earth is given priority to,supplemented by other materials,which lays the foundation for the follow-up research.The second chapter makes a typological analysis after the systematic arrangement,comprehensively investigates the differences in the types of Huang bronze wares,and divides the main types of Huang bronze wares according to their types,so as to provide a good support for the study of the age.The Huang ware is divided into four periods.With reference to the characteristics of bronze wares in the surrounding main cultural areas,the third chapter makes an overall comparative analysis of the shape,decoration and inscription cultural characteristics of Huang bronze wares.In the composition of the bronze ware culture of the Huang,the Central Plains culture occupies the main position,followed by the Yi Culture and Hai Dai Culture,showing the local regional cultural characteristics of the Huang,and a few utensils with the Chu culture in the later period.The historical and geographical characteristics of the Huang have affected the transformation of the development of bronze culture.The fourth chapter collects and collates the bronze inscriptions of Huang,which is an important literature material with a wide range of contents,involving many fields such as the humanistic system,referring to the citation words and words to the interpretation of the whole sentence,and the accurate interpretation of the inscription.According to the different contents of the interpretation inscriptions,theinscriptions on the bronze wares of the Huang are divided into four categories.The fifth chapter takes historical and geographical of Huang.The defects of the internal system of the Huang are magnifying day by day,the allies are weak,the strategy of foreign relations is weak,and many factors,such as the special geographical location,together constitute the reasons for the early demise of the Huang in the Spring and Autumn period.Its sacrifice is related to Chu’s attention to population and land.From the social and cultural development and transformation of the Huang,this paper examines the local regional characteristics of the princes,which is finally integrated into the Chu culture.To sum up,through the comprehensive study of the bronze wares of the Huang,sort out and summarize the types of bronze wares,summarize the cultural characteristics of the bronzes,pay close attention to the problems of time and land,try their best to show the social and cultural features of the Huang,and promote the study of the problems of the Huang.At the same time,it also provides an example for the study of the countries of the princes between the East and West dynasties.
