Research On The HeKu’s Miao Cultural Visual Symbols Under The Visual Anthropology Theory

The Miao culture is one of the oldest ethnic minorities in our country.For thousands of years,it has been famous for its long history,wide distribution and colorful culture.As a gathering place for the Miao people,Heku Town,Fenghuang County has its unique Miao cultural characteristics.In 2017,the county government and county government of Phoenix County invested 590 million yuan to focus on creating a characteristic town with a “trinity” of featured industries,cultural tourism,and community functions.In March2018,the author investigated Heku Town with his instructor.Its enthusiastic Miao people and simple ethnic culture deeply moved me and made me want to create.In this context,from the perspective of visual anthropology,this article uses the theoretical imaging tools to study the visual symbol design of the Miao culture in Heku Town,Fenghuang County.Kumei beautiful villages,green mountains and green water provide innovative ways to contribute to the construction of beautiful rural areas in ethnic areas.This research uses visual anthropology,photography,semiotics,and image narrative theory to carry out literature reviews and define relevant concepts for the theories needed for the creation of visual symbols in Hekumiao culture,and aims to explore the development of culture from photography The feasibility and advantages of visual symbols.In addition,this article also discusses the photographic principles of photographic works and the expression elements of photographic works in the design of visual symbols from the production of visual anthropology,which provides principles and techniques for the design of visual symbols of Heku photographic works in the future Ideas for visual symbol design in other regions.According to the principles of shooting and design,the article also discusses the application methods of visual works under visual anthropology in the design of visual symbols,which are direct application,structural reorganization and exaggerated transformation.At the end of the article,the visual symbol design practice under visual anthropology is used to display the Hekumiao culture,enhance the soft power of Damei Hekumiao culture,establish cultural self-confidence,and promote the development of distinctive culture and industry.
