Jiajing "Great Japanese pirates" mainly refers to the activities of the Japanese pirates in the southeast between Jiajing thirty-two and Longqing Kaihai.Jiangnan as a national wealth,"Great Japanese pirates" wanton for the Ming Dynasty rule of great impact. At the same time, people’s understanding of the insurrection is getting deeper and deeper. In the process of information dissemination, the Japanese pirates from all over the information through different ways and means of dissemination, and finally gathered in Beijing.Official documents and letters played an important role, and the transmission of documents and letters depended on the well-developed courier system in Ming Dynasty and the management of the folk letter bureau.Different information spread to Beijing and became the main way for the central court to know Japanese pirates. The understanding of the Japanese pirates in the Ming Dynasty was not achieved overnight. The Japanese pirates had been plundering in the Ming Dynasty since the Hongwu years, until the war for tribute in Ningbo in the second year of Jiajing period, which made people know more about the Japanese pirates. In the early period of "the Great Japanese pirates",the local officials represented by Zhu Wan had a clear understanding of the Japanese pirates, which was demonstrated in the uploading of memorials and the issuing of imperial decrees.Although Emperor Sejong the Great was clear about the reasons for the chaos of the southeast pirates at this time, however,he still sent Zhu Wan to attack Shuangyu in the name of "Japanese suppression",which is a glimpse of how deep the memory of the Japanese Emperor Sejong the Great was. When the "Great Japanese pirates" happened, officials at all levels and in all places had a deeper understanding of the Japanese pirates, and the Japanese pirates’ understanding gradually approached the truth in the confrontation and dissemination of information between the "Japanese pirates" view and the sea pirates view. While the central government in Beijing gradually got a clear answer from various officials’ notes and questions, the conclusion that the Japanese pirates are mostly Chinese people has become a general consensus, but Emperor Sejong the Great still called them the Japanese pirates, the choice of the Japanese pirates view,it not only represents the official understanding of Japanese pirates, but also influences theunderstanding of Japanese pirates in the following decades.Emperor Sejong the Great’s understanding of Japanese invaders came from the spread of documents and letters, and the interaction of information between different places, especially Jiangnan in Beijing, resulted in the southeast’s decision to resist Japanese invaders. In the process of information interaction, the information interaction and memorials among officials became an important factor influencing the emperor’s decision-making.Mainly on the issue of establishing the governor of Zhejiang, during the Jiajing period, the governor of Zhejiang underwent three re-establishment,one change from governor to governor, one change from governor to governor, and each change in the Japanese pirates’ decision-making,it is the result of the interaction between officials, especially those in Jiangnan, and the central government in Beijing.Every restoration was related to the Japanese pirates until the thirty-one of the Jiajing period, when the king was the governor of Zhejiang Province, who was responsible for military affairs and specialized in dealing with the coastal defense and the Japanese pirates in southeast China.
