As an important part of Chinese Buddhist culture,Tibetan Buddhism,due to its particular geographical location and the niche nature of Tibetan Buddhist culture,some excellent art forms in Tibetan Buddhist culture have not been well spread and popular,And even suffered from natural erosion and man-made destruction.As a unique form of religious art,Tibetan Buddhist sculpture condenses the wisdom of the Tibetan people.When it comes to Tibetan Buddhist sculptures,one can’t help but think of the idol protector in Tibetan secrets and the double statues of Tibetans.These statues are terrifying in appearance,and burst and dark.However,its contrast with its external form is the religious and cultural connotation of its great power,sorrow and wisdom.This contrast is due to the special historical background and extreme natural environment that created the unique aesthetic appeal of the people in Tibetan areas.Because of this,Tibetan Buddhist sculptures have high artistic and cultural value.The article first introduces the relevant theories and applications of digitization in the protection of cultural relics,that is,explores the methods and feasibility of the digital protection of sculpture cultural relics from three aspects: the theory of digital protection of cultural relics,the methodology of digital protection technology,and the analysis of digital protection applications.Finally,it summarizes the digital information collection methods of digital close-range photogrammetry and three-dimensional scanning;three methods of digital repair based on automatic modeling of two-dimensional images,manual modeling based on two-dimensional images,and automatic modeling based on three-dimensional scanning information,and Multiple applications.Then,the article explores the theoretical research on the integration of digital technology and Tibetan Buddhist sculpture art,that is,the protection of Tibetan Buddhist sculpture based on digital technology and the inheritance of Tibetan Buddhist sculpture art based on digital technology.The value in the protection of Buddhist sculpture art.That is,it enhances the protection efficiency of Tibetan Buddhist sculptures,permanently protects the body of Tibetan Buddhist sculptures,and also enhances the standardization of Tibetan Buddhist sculpture art inheritance,better publicizes Tibetan Buddhist sculpture art,and increases publicity.Interaction and artistic infectivity.The article discusses some methods,feasibility and practical significance of digital technology in the protection of sculpture cultural relics through the practice of the digital protection of Tibetan Buddhist sculptures.In this research,after many field surveys and measurements of Tibetan Buddhist sculptures,a large number of relevant digital protection literature classics were consulted and collected,and summarized.Thereby,three methods of digital information acquisition,digital restoration and digital application are established for the digital protection of Tibetan Buddhist sculptures.
