| Since the last century,the oil paintings in Henan region have developed a variety of contexts and educational models with the development of the times.The art colleges and universities in Henan region are important bases for spreading the ideas of beauty and cultivating art talents.It is worth combing and researching,this research is an indispensable part of the subject of the history of the development of Henan art.At present,the academic circles are weak in the history of the development of oil painting education in Henan colleges and universities,especially the early development of oil painting education in Henan colleges and universities.After consulting some documents and analyzing its conclusions,it is found that the theoretical results generally believe that the introduction of oil painting in Henan area was later than the introduction of oil painting in other areas;the education of Henan oil painting really existed since the establishment of the Art College of Henan University.The discussion on the development of oil painting education in the early Henan area was largely blank or briefly summarized.From the timeline,most of the articles on Henan oil paintings are discussed in the timeline.The article generally believes that since the 6th National Exhibition of The United States,"Henan Oil Painting" gradually entered the public eye,but also think that since the 6th National Beauty Exhibition,oil painting education has been paid attention to by Henan region,and thus began to develop by leaps and bounds.However,by collecting,sorting,and analyzing the data,the author believes that the spread of oil painting in Henan area had begun to appear as early as 1902.After 1902,with the return of a group of students studying in Japan,oil painting education was officially introduced to Henan and started.Rooting and spreading in Henan area has since existed in the teaching courses of public colleges represented by Henan Superior Teachers College and private colleges represented by Dongyue Art School.Teachers,as one of the core forces for promoting the education of oil painting,from 1902 to 1949,a group of overseas art educators represented by Wu Fading and Li Jianchen,and art educators trained by domestic institutions such as Xie Ruijie,appeared in Henan.No matter where they are,they will entangle their personal ambitions and talents into the fate of the country and the torrent of the times,devote themselves to education,and make great contributions to the promotion of Henan oil painting education.Compared with Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Fujian,and other places,the oil painting education in Henan colleges really lags behind.This is reflected in the complete emergence of oil painting education in public and private colleges,and very few influential colleges across the country.The teaching models are mostly imitating Shanghai Art College,Beijing National Art College,etc.Don’t have nothing strong influence.The lag in oil painting education in Henan colleges and universities is caused by many factors: First,the geographical location of Henan made it difficult to attract a large number of international art students and exchanges at the time,and there were few teaching teachers.In addition,it was difficult for the education industry to retain talents.Secondly,the people of Henan area at the time were relatively lacking in the ability to accept new knowledge,and they did not pay enough attention to this new foreign culture,and few governments,educators,and revolutionaries talked about oil painting education from the perspective of cultural salvation;Third,the turbulence of the current situation and the destruction of the war made the people frightened all day long.Most of the students did not want to learn.Even if some students were willing to receive oil painting education and concentrate on research,there were no conditions and tools for studying oil painting in the Henan region during the war.Oil painting teachers are even more helpless.From the present point of view,the development of oil painting education at that time was immature and there were still many problems and shortcomings,but it is undeniable that it laid a solid foundation for the education of oil painting art in Henan colleges and universities after the founding of New China.This article is based on the development of art education in various periods in Henan and the emergence and popularization of modern oil painting education.It attempts to sort out the evolution of oil painting education in Henan colleges and universities and analyze the characteristics and connections of oil painting education in Henan in each period.Trying to sort out the context of the history of the development of oil painting in early Henan colleges and universities more clearly,and hope to provide a more systematic and intuitive theoretical framework for the study of the history of oil painting education in Henan colleges.I hope that the art
