| The traditional folk art of southern Henan is varied and rich in content,which has been passed down from generation to generation for hundreds of years.They are not only the symbol of the historical and cultural heritage of southern Henan,but also the "living fossil" to understand the culture of southern Henan,which also reflects the gentle,honest,sincere and optimistic emotions of the people of southern Henan,but also an important basis to improve children’s sense of identity to their hometown.But this traditional folk form is no longer familiar to most people.The author hopes that through the development and application of the folk art resources in southern Henan,a characteristic extra-curricular art education for children can be formed,and the interest in the folk art of southern Henan can be stimulated according to the different development stages of children,so as to pass on the art common sense and unique culture and aesthetic consciousness of the folk art of southern Henan to the next generation.This paper starts with the investigation of the application of folk art resources in children’s art education outside school in southern Henan Province,analyzes the investigation results,and puts forward suggestions for the implementation of children’s art education outside school.By enhancing the significance of folk art curriculum resources in children’s art education outside school,we can cultivate children’s ability of inheriting,expanding,practicing and innovating the folk art in southern Henan,hoping to make contributions to the inheritance and development of the folk art in southern Henan as well as the cultivation of children’s cultural awareness and self-confidence. |
