The Ming Dynasty faced an unprecedented crisis in the border area during the Jiajing Period.In order to fight against Japanese pirates,starting in Jiajing 26 years(1547),the Ming Dynasty successively dispatched senior officials to take charge of coastal defense along the southeast coast.In Jiajing 34 years(1555),Hu Zongxian appointed the right commander of the imperial court to be the commander of zhejiang province.Xu Wei,Mao Kun,Zheng Ruozeng,Shen mingchen and the others were mostly from the areas of Japanese Buddhism,and they had skills.in order to display their ability and protect the country and,they successively entered Hu Zongxian Martial Shogun.They wrote paper,compiled books,provided anti-japanese advices,followed Hu Zongxian on the warpath,recorded the anti-japanese history,even took part in battles.They played an important role in ensuring the victory of Hu Zongxian’s war against Japanese pirates and the war against Japanese pirates during the Jiajing Period.Analysis and interpretation of the scholar group of Hu Zongxian Martial Shogun can help us promote researches in the Ming dynasty Shogun,aides groups and the Ming dynasty scholar.
