A Comparative Study On The Meaning Of Jinbu Characters In Shuowenjiezi And Erya

"ShuoWenJieZi" is the beginning of Chinese philology and the first dictionary in the history of Chinese linguistics.Erya is the first Chinese dictionary and the first word book in the history of Chinese linguistics.The two works have always been studied by researchers,and each of them has formed special academic questions.The study of "ShuoWenJieZi" developed into "Xu science" in Qing Dynasty,while the study of "Erya" formed "Ya science",both of which occupy a light position in Chinese language research.In recent years,by comparing Erya with ShuowenJiezi,the research on ShuoWenJieZi began to appear.In the related research,it is the most common to compare a certain part of ShuowenJiezi with Erya,especially several parts of ShuowenJiezi that have more characters or are closely related to the life of the ancients.In these studies,the comparative study of Jinbu characters has not yet appeared.To supplement this study is one of the purposes and original intention of this paper.In ShuowenJiezi,there are 199 characters collected in Jin,and 32 words can be compared in Erya.By comparing the meanings of the words,we can clearly see the development and change of Jinbu in the pre Qin and Han Dynasties.Accordingly,we can also trace the development of metal culture,including metallurgy culture,food culture,agricultural culture,war culture and sacrifice culture.This paper mainly uses the research methods of literature review and comparison.First of all,makes an exegetical study on the Jinbu characters in ShuowenJiezi and Erya and then a comparative analysis of the meaning category,and finally summed up the cultural search.In order to return the original Qin and Han period of the development of metal culture.
