Han Dynasty is the first golden period in which the Chinese Exegetics made great progress. Different from the forms of exegesis in Pre-Qin dynasties in which could be found separately in curriculum of Chinese literary classics, many systematical and integral monographs appeared in Han Dynasty. Among these monographs, Erya between Qin-Han Dynasties, Dialect, Shuowenjiezi and Shiming in Han Dynasty are the most typical works, of which is the clear original creation. They summarized the practice of Chinese Exegetics in the Pre-Qin dynasties; as those typical works reflected the prosperousness of the Chinese Exegetics in the Han Dynasty, the four monographs had some relationship in the nature of things. The threads of their development are one of the most important content in the Han Dynasty, and also in the whole history of the Chinese Exegetics. In order to get the incisive knowledge of the Chinese Exegetics in Han Dynasty, in this study, we put the four monographs together, compare them with one another from individual and whole angle, analyze the threads and compare their develop progress with each other.In this paper, we mainly analyze those topics: First, the changes of the works' objectives; second, the difference of the exegesis' targets; third, the abundance of exegesis terms; fourth, the development of exegesis regulations; fifth, the innovation of editorial layout; and sixth, the progress of the Chinese Exegesis thought. From the discuss above, we can find that, the Chinese Exegetics in Han Dynasty make great improvement, it shows systematic and scientific. What it comprises is primary aspect in today's Chinese Exegetics. During this period, the rudiment of Chinese Exegetics was formed. |
