Research On The Thought Of "Unity Of Knowledge And Action" In Chuan Xi Lu

Wang Yangming’s ethical thought of "unity of knowledge and action" in the book of transcribing learning has a strong traditional moral education in China.If neo-confucianism is an important milestone in the history of Chinese ethical thoughts,then Wang Yangming’s psychology is another important milestone in the history of Chinese ethical thoughts.Wang Yangming’s idea of "unity of knowledge and action" in transcribing records of learning is based on the Analects of Confucius,Mencius and other original texts,especially in the historical background of knowledge and action caused by Cheng and Zhu’s thinking system of "maintaining the principles of nature and eliminating the desires of others" in the life reality of moral decline and the decline of social morality in the Mid Ming Dynasty.The "unity of knowledge and action" in Wang Yangming’s biography of learning has broken through the barriers and stereotypes of predecessors and reached a new theoretical height.This paper mainly expounds from the book’s background,the thought source,main content and modern value of "unity of knowledge and action" in Chuan Xi Lu.The book is a collection of Wang Yangming’s sayings,the essence of Wang Yangming’s thoughts,and a classic of Wang Yangming’s studies with many carvings and wide circulation.It is not only the core achievement of Wang Yangming’s thought,but also an important academic work of the Ming dynasty.Wang Yangming’s idea of "unity of knowledge and action" in Chuan Xi Lu originated from Confucius and Mencius.Confucius first proposed in Analects of Confucius that "knowledge" implies "action",which is a metaphor for "unity of knowledge and action" in Analects of Confucius.On the basis of Confucius,Mencius creatively put forward the "theory of goodness of nature",believing that people have the "four hearts" of benevolence,righteousness,courtesy and wisdom,and advocated the "unity of man and nature" mode of "whole-hearted--understanding--knowing the heaven".He put "heart" in the first place,stressed the role of "heart",and paid more attention to "mind cultivation",thus put forward the eternal topic of embodies the unique nature of Wang Yangming’s mind learning.It is still of practical value to explore the value of transcribing records and to reveal the spirit of philosophy.It is not only conducive
