The Legends of the Second Founders of Mitr Phol is literal family biography of Mitr Phol Sugar Corporation.,Ltd.,which presents the operation mode of Wang family’s family business and good family style to readers.Nowadays,the study of family biography in Thai isn’t perfect,even there is still much room for the development of context theory to guide the study of biography.Therefore,the practical report is from the perspective of context theory,which makes a case study from the foreword to the seventh chapter from three levels of linguistic context,context of situation and cultural context.In linguistic context,three aspects of register features,word collocation,and context are discussed.In the context of the situation,the background and the specific situation of the restored novel are analyzed,so that the plot of the novel can be vividly displayed in front of the readers.In the cultural context,the difficulties and ways of dealing with cultural information are discussed in literary works.In the strategies of translation,we should pay attention to the two characteristics of the historicity and literariness of biography.Finally,the translation process,translation methods and the qualities of the literary translation works are summarized by the author.
