A Study On Nanlu Zhuang Drama

The Nanlu Zhuang drama,Zhuang Drama in the south of Guangxi,is the favorite art form of ethnic opera among the Zhuang People in Jingxi.It has gone through a long process of change since ancient times.Entering from the historical context to the developmental context,the Nanlu Zhuang drama in Jingxi has some urgent problems needing to be solved in the process of the inheritance and development of the troupe and the script.Based on the background of modernization and the script of the Nanlu Zhuang drama edited by Lu Zhiwei and the Zhuang drama troupe in Jiuzhou,this thesis aims to find out the problems existing in the development of Nanlu Zhuang drama in Jingxi and propose reflection.This thesis uses the method of fieldwork and literature review,and so on to study Nanlu Zhuang drama in Jingxi.It makes systematic examinations on the background(from the period of word of mouth to that of modern internet communication)of Nanlu Zhuang drama in Jingxi,looks into the historical origins of its development,clarifies its inherent artistic development rules,and shows its creation and structural composition through a literary and artistic analysis of the scripts saved by Lu Zhiwei.The author treats the amateur Zhuang drama troupe in Jiuzhou as an individual case to conduct an in-depth investigation,observes the living conditions of the current amateur Zhuang drama troupe in folk society and those of the artists and audiences,explores the main social functions of Zhuang drama in folk society,and reveals the relationship between folk drama and local society.
