Research On Audiovisual Composition Under The Theory Of Kandinsky’s Inner Sound

As a basic part of the development of new media art,Audiovisual composition plays an indispensable role.The dual expression of sound and vision can make the image and sense better combined,forming rich and harmonious audio-visual synesthesia experience.The ever-changing media technology provides artists with more possibilities in creative means,it also causes the image homogeneity and technology supremacy and some other problems in the performance of works.Wassily Kandinsky is one of the founders of modern Abstract Art.His “Inner Sound ”theory is a unique thinking about the relationship between vision and sound,which expounds the inner sound of each visual element and the overall relationship of combination.The “Inner Sound ” can provide another way of thinking for the theoretical research and subsequent creation of Audiovisual composition.On the one hand,it can use the scientific and technological conditions of modern society to guide the basic framework of creation,on the other hand,it can make the author better convey the content information to the audience.Based on the literature search of Kandinsky’s abstract theory,this paper interprets the "synesthesia","motion tension" and "cosmic spirit" of “Inner Sound ”.And based on the comparative analysis of relevant design research and practice cases at home and abroad,the investigation in Bauhaus and other places,the knowledge framework established by learning in the Academy of Fine Arts,and the experience gained from participating in the practice project with the tutor,this paper introduces the“Inner Sound ” into the basic research of Audiovisual composition,and sums up the concepts of "from the concrete to the image","introducing the concept of movement and tension" and "integrated design".This paper also puts forward the corresponding design methods,and carries out in-depth discussion on this subject in combination with the relevant cases and my graduation design.The focus of this paper is to build a set of basic research materials with reference value to the theoretical research and practical activities of Audiovisual composition with Kandinsky’s“Inner Sound ”,and try to put forward some feasible ideas and design methods.I hope it can help the relevant designers to develop their thinking and promote the healthy development of multimedia design.
