| The social, political, economic and cultural changes in the late Eastern Han dynasty influenced the evolution of poetry in the late Eastern Han dynasty.During this period, the internal development law of poetry itself also influenced the evolution of poetry.Taking the changes of social politics, economy and culture in the late Eastern Han dynasty as the background, this paper intends to carefully read the poetry texts of Emperor Shun,Emperor Huan and Emperor Ling, analyze the works of key writers in Emperor Shun,Emperor Huan and Emperor Ling, analyze the content of poetry creation, and explore the artistic characteristics and evolution of poetry. The thesis consists of three parts: introduction, text and conclusion. The introduction part introduces the research scope of the paper, explains the reason of the topic, and puts forward the innovation of the paper by sorting out the research history. The body part is divided into three chapters.Chapter one studies the influence of social changes on the evolution of poetry during the reign of Emperor Shun of Han dynasty. This paper analyzes the social situation in the reign of Emperor Shun, grasping the two main characteristics of the joint control of the government by the congregants and eunuchs and the decline of Confucianism. The poetry of this period was closely combined with other literary genres(especially lyric ode),which reflected the artistic characteristics of "taking sorrow as beauty".From the early and middle Eastern Han dynasty, which paid attention to singing praises to virtues,it changed to pay attention to describing specific things and expressing personal subjective feelings. The second chapter studies the influence of social changes on the evolution of poetry in the period of Emperor Huan.Politically,in the early period of Emperor Huan’s reign, empress dowager Liang had the absolute power, and in the later period of Emperor Huan’s reign,Emperor Huan used eunuchs to seize power from his relatives.Eunuchs were trusted and interfered in the government. At the same time, the Confucian scholars and eunuchs carried out a fierce struggle, the emperor suppressed the Confucian scholars, the first partisan prohibition disaster formed.Culturally,Emperor Huan believed in Buddhism and Taoism, and the Confucian culture declined further. In terms of poetic creation, the five-character poems of this period tend to be mature.Reflected in the language, plain and unvarnished and deep feelings;Poetic imagery, more fullness;Technique of expression, more emphasis on the blending of feeling and scene.Qin jia’s five-character poems reflect this characteristic.Of course, the lyricism of this period conceals the poet’s concern and disappointment about the dark politics. The third chapter studies the influence of social changes on the evolution of poetry in the period of Emperor Ling.During the reign of Emperor Ling, the conjures and clans united with the scholars and waged a fierce struggle with the eunuchs. The eunuch impeached the scholar, which opened the second prohibition. The establishment of Hongdumenxue by Emperor Ling of the Han dynasty had a great influence on politics and culture. The establishment of Hongdumenxue gave power to those who were good at painting and seal cutting, which further damaged the mentality of Confucian scholars.During this period,Emperor Ling advocated that poetry should attach importance to artistic aesthetics, but his actual creation was the opposite. The excellent poems of this period mainly attacked the darkness of the society and expressed the unmet talent. The style of the poem is impassioned, the words are urgent,to open the wind and build up the first. The epilogue summarizes the influence of social changes on the evolution of poetry in the late Eastern Han dynasty and the status of poetry in the development history of poetry in the late Eastern Han dynasty. |
