At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China,Eastern Times,Shendaily,The News divided into three parts which is the most influential of Shanghai’s three major newspapers.Eastern Times is founded on June 12,the 30 th years of Guang Xu(1904).And it ceased in September,the 28 th years(1939).It lasted 35 years.Due to the emphasis on business innovation,the Eastern Times has become a pioneer in the reform of modern Chinese newspapers.The development of the Eastern Times is divided into three stages: It is led by Kang Youwei,Liang Qichao from the 30 th years of Guang Xu(1904)to the 33 th years of Guang Xu(1907);It is Di independent newspaper period of Baoxian from the 34 th years of Guang Xu(1904)to the 10 th years of the Republic of China.It is the business reported period of Huang Bohui.The Eastern Times experienced two transformations in three stages.This paper aims to analyze the development of the Eastern Times and show the intricate relationship between the development of the Eastern Times and the relative network changes of newspaper reporter which is starting from the changes of social relations network of newspaper reporter.In Kang,Liang leding the period,newspaper reporter of the Eastern Times is mainly Kang’s disciples.Speech is related to propaganda emperor and resisting the revolution.In the early days of the Di Baoxian independent presiding over the newspaper,The reporter of Guangdong are marginalized.Jiangsu scholar occupied an important position in the newspaper.The Eastern Times has become the mouthpiece of public opinion of the ruling party of Jiangsu and Zhejiang.After the Revolution of 1911,the members of the museum reorganized.Jiangsu scholar of the Eastern Times more focused on business innovation instead of politics.After Huang Bohui picking the Eastern Times,like-minded people of the Songjiang Qingpu Department became the backbone of the newspaper.The direction of the newspaper turned to socialization,popularization,entertainment.This process shows that as the core of the newspaper strength,the reporter of newspaper of the changes in its social network had a close relationship with the Eastern Times.With the development of the times change,the position and the interest of the newspaper reporter influenced content of the newspaper and the layout settings,whose politic pespect acted on the newspaper’s opinion on public affairs at the same time,and the relationships on newspaper reporters,the relationships on reporters and the mass organizations,both turned into the inner reasons which promoted the Eastern Times’ transformation.
