Study Of "NN" Modifier-modified Nouns In The Outline Of The Graded Vocabulary For HSK And Its Teaching Strategy

Abstract/Summary:
This article selects 764 "NN" modifier-modified nouns in "HSK Vocabulary Level Outline" as the research objects,researches from two levels of semantics and grammar,puts forward the "NN" modifier-modified nouns in teaching Chinese as a foreign language based on analysis,makes specific lesson plan designs in combination with "Developing Chinese" comprehensive textbook.At the semantic level,it is carried out from four aspects: the morpheme meaning of "NN" modifier-modified nouns,the relationship between morpheme meanings,and the relationship between word meanings,morpheme meanings and word meanings."NN" modifier-modified nouns are composed of partial morphemes and orthographic morphemes.According to the "Modern Chinese Classification Dictionary" and "Dialect Survey Vocabulary",the morpheme meanings of partial morphemes are further divided into 19 categories,and the morpheme meanings of orthographic morphemes are divided into 17 categories.The relations among morpheme meanings are divided into 19 categories.The meanings of nouns are divided into three categories: proper nouns,common nouns,and special nouns.The relationship between morpheme meaning and word meaning includes direct expression,indirect expression,and loss of morpheme meaning.There are four ways of morpheme meaning to form word meaning: simple addition,implicit addition,fusion extension and integration and reconstruction.The grammatical level is developed from two perspectives,lexical and syntactic.Lexical perspective: According to the nature of the morpheme,it is divided into3 types: free morpheme,semi-free morpheme,and non-free morpheme;according to the position of the morpheme,it is divided into 3 types: biasable and positive morphemes,only partial morphemes,and only positive morphemes.According to the morpheme word formation pattern,the formal nouns of "NN" are divided into lexical words and lexical words.Syntactic perspective: Analyze the 3 kinds of syntactic functions of "NN" modifier-modified nouns: they can serve as subject,predicate,object,attributive,adverbial,but not complement;they can form sentences independently;they can take "le" into sentences.Strategies of "NN" Partial Nouns in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.The "NN" modifier-modified nouns are mostly D-class and C-class words,and less class-A words.At the semantic level,different teaching strategies are proposed for word formation:morphological words: morpheme meaning interpretation method,implicit meaning supplement method,morpheme meaning correlation method;lexical words: holistic teaching method.At the grammatical level,according to the nature of grammar,two teaching methods are proposed: the morpheme meaning analogy and the morpheme positioning method.With reference to the teaching strategies of Chinese as a foreign language,combined with the comprehensive textbook "Developing Chinese",the teaching design of the "NN" modifier-modified nouns is made,with a view to benefiting international Chinese teaching.
