| Lotus culture has a long history,since the pre-qin period,because of its practical value and ancestors of the totem worship,and the people’s life closely linked.Lotus image began to form in the “book of songs” and “The Songs of Chu”.Throughout its development,the development of the tang dynasty is quite remarkable,and has influenced the later lotus poetry in the symbolic connotation This paper focuses on the differences between the lotus image in tang dynasty and the previous tang dynasty,and the evolution of lotus image in tang dynasty.The article is divided into four parts,as follows:The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research status and the motivation of the topic.Through sorting out,the present research results on lotus image are divided into four parts,including the original reproduction worship,the symbolic connotation in literature,the theme of lotus picking,and the discussion on lotus image from the big cultural background.As an important period for the further development of lotus poetry,few achievements have been made on the lotus image in tang dynasty,and the evolution of lotus image in tang poetry has not been paid much attention to.This paper uses the method of sorting lists to systematically comb the concrete manifestation of lotus image evolution.The second part is an overview of lotus poetry before the tang dynasty,which mainly includes lotus poetry in the pre-qin dynasty and lotus poetry from the qin and han dynasties to the northern and southern dynasties.The archetypes of lotus “book of songs” and lotus “The Songs of Chu” in the pre-qin period laid a foundation for the development of lotus literature in later ages.Lotus picking poetry appeared in the qin and han dynasties,which marked the appearance of lotus picking literature.In terms of quantity and quality,lotus picking poetry in the northern and southern dynasties had a greater development than that in the qin and han dynasties.However,there were four changes in lotus picking poems,they paid more attention to the beauty of lotus to describe women.;The expression of love between a man and a woman is more direct;The character of lotus pincking has changed,the fading of farming activities and the beginning of aesthetic tendency.The change of the main body of lotus gathering,the identity of lotus gathering woman changed from folk girl to palace girl,beauty,with the color of palace poetry.The third part is the evolution of lotus poetry in tang dynasty.This part makes a detailed analysis and elaboration from three aspects: the evolution of lotus poetry in tang dynasty,the evolution of lotus aesthetics in tang dynasty and the evolution of buddhist lotus in tang dynasty.In the lotus poems of the tang dynasty,the identity of the lotus gatherers returned.Apart from the color of the palace style poems,they began to show the nature of the folk,with the flavor of folk work.Under the development of poets such as Bai juyi and Pi rixiu,bai lian’s poems appeared in the tang dynasty and enriched the connotation of bai lian’s personality symbol.On the transformation of lotus aesthetic connotation,lotus poetry in tang dynasty changed from the gorgeous style in the northern and southern dynasties to the Pure and fresh style,from the lively style to the weak and degenerate style.Buddhism flourished in the tang dynasty,and there were also the theories of mahayana and hinayana in zen.After the middle tang dynasty,due to the growing influence of nanzong,the lotus poetry related to Buddhism changed from "separation" to "namely" in the way of pure occurrence.The fourth part is the inheritance and development of lotus poetry from song dynasty to tang dynasty.Due to the rapid economic development,the centralization of central power,the increasingly fair imperial examination system,and the government’s policy of emphasizing literature over military force,the literature of song dynasty flourished.On this basis,lotus poetry in song dynasty also reached its heyday.The identity of women in lotus picking poetry,the symbolic connotation of white lotus and the attention to dead lotus in song dynasty all reflect the succession of song dynasty to tang dynasty.In the tang dynasty,for the buddhist lotus,poets paid more attention to the way of lotus purity,but in the song dynasty,poets began to pay attention to the cause of lotus purity,and had ontological thinking on lotus,which was the development of lotus poetry in the tang dynasty. |
