The Female Consciousness Of Ding Ling’s Novels In Yan’an Period

The significance of literature lies in providing poetic spiritual dimension for the real world,enabling people to reflect and break the secular world through humanistic care and ultimate thinking.According to this point,Ding Ling tries her best to draw the current situation and beautiful imagination of feminine existence in novels.Even in Yan’an period when the political situation was changing,she didn’t forget to explore feminine living forms and strategies as a woman,a writer and a revolutionary.This thesis chooses Ding Ling’s novels in Yan’an period as the research object,and takes her female consciousness as the breakthrough point to explore the depth,breadth and complexity of female consciousness.The thesis is divided into three parts:introduction,main body and conclusion.The introduction mainly combs the research status of Ding Ling’s literary creation in Yan’an period,and puts forward the author’s thinking about the research status and the definition of female consciousness.The main body includes three chapters.The first chapter,the change of the female consciousness in Ding Ling’s novels,aims to show the diachronic change of Ding Ling’s female consciousness by combing difference in novles of May 4th period,Left-wing Association period and Yan’an period.Also,this chapter wants to highlight that the female consciousness in Ding Ling’s novels in Yan’an period inherited from the May 4th period and the Left-wing Association period,and developed into a complicated entanglement of female social consciousness and female individual consciousness.The second chapter,the presentation of the female consciousness of Ding Ling’s novels in Yan’an period,according to the emphases of female consciousness expression in different stages of Yan’an period,the author analyzes the female social consciousness in the early stage,the female individual consciousness in the middle stage,the balance between the social consciousness and the individual consciousness in the later stage,in order to show the rich connotation of female consciousness of Ding Ling.The third chapter,the value and defects of female consciousness in Ding Ling’s novels in Yan’an period.Author states its value from three aspects:the expansion of female identity,the breakthrough of integrating female discourse into grand narrative and the development of Chinese female literature.Through the infiltration of political ideology,author thinks that the defects lie in the shaping of female images,the setting of revolutionary status of men and women,and the presupposition of creative ideas.The conclusion points out Ding Ling’s firm female position in Yan’an period,the elimination of female consciousness after the founding of PRC,and the shortcomings of this thesis.
