The field practice teaching of human geography is an important part in the undergraduate course of geography.Field measurement and investigation are not only indispensable for the establishment of survey methods but also the verification of geographical phenomena.Most geographical data and first-hand scientific data mainly come from field practice,which is an critical research guarantee for the development of human geography.Carrying out field practice teaching of human geography is conducive to improving students’ ability of combining theory with practice,independent exploration,cooperation and organization,and promotes their professional quality.National standard for teaching quality of geographical science clearly points out in the training objectives and talent training requirements that "students should have the ability to obtain first-hand scientific data and geographical data through comprehensive field investigation,social investigation and experimental analysis","having the ability to independently design and carry out field investigation" and "having a strong investigation and research ability".This paper uses research methods such as using literature,questionnaire,interview and statistical analysis,takes some students and practice leader teachers from department of geography in TibetUniversity as the investigation object,analyzes the present situation of the human geography field practice teaching in Tibet university,summarizes the deficiencies and problems during the process of conducting,and puts forward specific and actual operation countermeasures.This paper is divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction is the preface,which mainly expounds the research background,research purpose,research significance,research status at home and abroad,theoretical research and writing thought.The body part is mainly to introduce the research investigation design and technical route of this paper,compile the questionnaire of students and the interview outline of teachers,conduct data processing and interview content analysis,and summarize the current situation of the field practice teaching of human geography in Tibet University.In the summary part,the author summarizes the current problems in the field practice teaching of human geography in Tibet University,and tries to give corresponding strategies and suggestions according to the current situation obtained from the investigation.Finally,the author points out the shortcomings and prospects.
