Research On The History And Creation Of Tibetan Documentary In China

In today’s globalized world,countries and regions in the world have closer political and economic ties,and human resources are largely shared.In this process,the diversified development of culture and equal exchanges become more important.The documentary,as a cultural ethnography of a nation or country,has the functions of recording the present,inheriting culture,and preserving group memories.Therefore,the three-dimensional dissemination of Tibetan documentaries through video media has multiple meanings for the internal inheritance and development of Tibetan culture and external interaction and communication.Tibetan films carry the rich cultural connotation of the Tibetan people’s settlement in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.How to make better use of the advantages of film as a mass media for the dissemination and exchange of national culture is worthy of in-depth consideration by every creator.The value of a documentary is not only a simple record,but a natural and human face that reflects the history and society of a particular area.Conversely,different spirits of the times and social context will inevitably affect the creation of documentaries to varying degrees,endowing them with historical significance and humanistic value.The creation of Tibetan documentaries has experienced the process of early imaginative image imagination,image construction under ideology-led discourse,and image diversification from the perspective of cultural reflection and exploration in their specific historical context.Tibetan documentary films have gradually shifted from politicization to human culture and civilianization,showing a multi-symbiotic record in the new century.This research mainly takes Tibetan documentary as the research object,combines film theory,sociology,film and television aesthetics,narrative theory and other theories.On the basis of it,analyze the characteristics of its creation,and think about the positive significance of Tibetan documentary film to the current development of Tibetan land.The first chapter of the thesis is an introduction,which introduces the background of the topic,the purpose and significance of the research,reviews the relevant research literature and defines the relevant concepts.The second chapter divides the development process of Tibetan documentaries from the historical dimension into early Tibetan images(1905-1948),political discourse of mainstream documentaries(1949-1987),personalized expression under the documentaryconcept(1988-1999),The four stages of the multi-symbiosis record period(2000-2019),and analyzes the cultural connotation carried by the Tibetan land image in each stage.The third chapter of the thesis analyzes the creative features of Tibetan documentaries in terms of creative subject matter,narrative method,creative perspective,and aesthetic style from the perspective of reality.The fourth chapter of the thesis attempts to study the importance of writing history,showing society,recording culture,and discussing identity of Tibetan documentaries from the future dimension,and puts forward suggestions for promoting the continuous development of Tibetan documentaries.The article believes that in the context of the era of globalization and the transformation of Tibetan society and culture,we need to pay more attention to the protection and development of national culture,and try to explore the creation of Tibetan documentaries by exploring the artistic and cultural value of the creation of Tibetan documentaries.Propose new thinking,and explore feasible methods for Tibetan documentaries to break through limitations and develop in an all-round way in the context of globalization.
