A Study Of Xiong Tieji’s History

Xiong Tieji is a famous contemporary historian.Mr.Xiong has been engaged in the research and teaching of history for more than 60 years.He has made outstanding academic achievements in the fields of history of the Qin and Han dynasties,cultural history,Taoist and Taoist culture,and made important contributions to the development of contemporary history.Taking Xiong Tieji’s academic achievements as the center,including xiong’s thoughts of governing history,research methods,and academic characteristics,it can be summarized as "Xiong Tieji’s historiography".The foundation of Xiong Tieji’s history is his academic background and research path.This paper explores the study contents of Xiong’s introduction to historiography and the influence of various factors on his later history,and then comprehensively review the published works of Xiong,and presents his academic course in the form of academic chronology as the basis and index of the research.The development course of Xiong Tieji’s historiography is the basis for understanding and studying Xiong Tieji’s historiography.If we make the longitudinal chronological sequence the main line and the research field the core content,the research path of Xiong Tieji in the past decades can be divided into four stages,just like exploration,start-up,harvest and deepening,and the academic characteristics,value and significance of Xiong Tieji’s historiography in each stage can be analyzed section by section.The main content of Xiong Tieji’s historiography is the historical achievements and academic activities of Xiong.On the basis of academic chronology,this paper reviews Xiong Tieji’s achievements in history.The main academic achievements and important academic activities of Xiong Tieji are discussed in detail in three parts:(1)the field of ancient history,specifically the history of the Qin and Han dynasties,cultural history,academic history and other special studies;(2)Taoist culture,mainly including the creation of new Taoist theories in the Qin and Han dynasties,the study on the history of ancient Taoism in China,the exploration of Taoist culture,and the re-exploration of the origin of Taoism;(3)important academic activities,including the establishment of Taoism research center of central China normal university and the editor-in-chief of laozi integration.While narrating the achievements of historiography,it also attaches great importance to the historiography comment,discusses Mr.Xiong’s important contribution to filling the research blank and promoting the academic innovation,and tries to make a fair investigation and evaluation of Xiong Tieji’s historiography.The core of xiong tieji’s historiography is Mr.Xiong’s realistic and innovative thought of governing history,and the key element is Mr.Xiong’s method of governing history of paying attention to problem consciousness.Mr.Xiong tieji is affable,profound and original in his scholarship and acute in his academic vision.Its academic characteristics have three most prominent aspects,they are "advance with The Times,seize the high ground","rich in originality,fresh "and" old and vigorous,enduring".Xiong Tieji’s historiography is a brilliant stroke in the history of contemporary historiography,and its pioneering and valuable achievements of historiography shine with wisdom,which is of great significance to the development of contemporary historiography.
