A Study On Said’s Critical Thought Of Humanism

Humanism has developed in the philosophical field with a strong momentum since Ancient Greece,from the germination to its heyday,the study of "human" has "family similarities".After looking at its development situation,Said stands in the dimension of "secularity " to realize the comprehensive development of human freedom as the ultimate goal,takes secularism as the basis,takes criticism as the main methodology,puts forward his own humanist critical thought,and constructs a new epistemological and methodological foundation for the discourse system of equality between the East and the West.The aim of this paper is to view Said’s humanist critical thought from the cross-view of culture,politics and social philosophy by combining theoretical research with cultural criticism,and to demonstrate his philosophical reflection on the real world.Orientalism is the theoretical cornerstone of his criticism,he uses the form of "re-enactment" to express the real East showing a free and independent East,to achieve the restoration of human subjectivity.First of all,because Said’s humanist critical thoughts are scattered in his research results,the writing of this paper is based on the combing his living environment,the main thesis and the theoretical origin of thought to explore the source of his humanist critical thought.Secondly,this article through analyzing the foundation of epistemology and secularity to explore the philosophical tone of his thought,the Western civilization centralism is deconstructed from a secular perspective.Thirdly,the analysis of the core issues of Said’s critical thought on humanism,as well as philosophical reflection on the practical subject of the critical thought of humanism from the four themes of the survival essence,social significance,value orientation and alienation trend of intellectuals.Finally,through the analysis of the construction of Said’s theory and the bottleneck of contribution to evaluate his thought,it analyzes that humanism is a dynamic process,which is about idea and bearing the thought,but it is not limited to the idea and thought it is the "human" as the ultimate purpose return.It can be seen that Said’s humanism critical thought not only provides a new perspective for the interpretation of the world,but also is constantly used in a way that affects the world.Although it has certain challenges in promoting the equality of discourse right from the ideological level,it still has a profound theoretical contribution,reshape human’s reality and show people’s "class" values,and double-reproducing the "interwoven history" to provide new methodological guidance for the development of humanism and human social activities.
