Sustainable transportation and smart logistics are new concepts in modern society.The research on sustainable transportation and smart logistics shows the relationship between sustainability,transportation and logistics.It can be applied to all modes of transportation to predict the future trend,and solve the current problems related to the implementation of sustainable transportation and smart logistics strategies in the urban environment.The source text is selected from the book Sustainable Transportation and Smart Logistics written by Javier Faulin.This book provides the latest research on how sustainability can better serve transportation activities,and introduces the practical strategies to realize the environmental sustainability of transportation terminals,making transportation activities become a better experience for users.These stategies reduce the negative impact of transportation activities,and provide the reference for the sustainable development of transportation terminals at home and abroad.At present,there are few studies on the translation of such texts in China,and the English-Chinese translation report has certain academic and practical value.Under the guidance of Hans Vermeer’s skopos theory,this report explores the translation strategies of the technical text.It consists of four chapters:The first chapter is the description of the translation task,including the source of the text,the practical significance and the features of the original text.The second chapter is the description of the translation process,including preparations before translation,translation procedures and quality control.The third chapter is the case analysis,which is also the central part of this report.Concrete translation strategies are put forward under the guidance of skopos theory from the lexical level,syntactic level and discourse level.The fourth chapter is a summary,reflecting on the translation process and putting forward the unsolved problems.Through the analysis of specific cases,the author hopes to improve the quality of English-Chinese translation of technical texts and provide references for the sustainable development of domestic and foreign transport terminal environment.
