The direction of English teaching reform is to pay attention to the cultivation of students’ abilities of independent learning,self-reliance and social adaptation,and to overcome the tendency of examination oriented education.As a kind of ability,autonomous learning has an important impact on the long-term learning development of secondary vocational school students,while as a means,it can improve the efficiency and effect of English teaching.The traditional indoctrination English class which is teacher-centered can’t embody the educational idea of taking students as the main body.Therefore,we intend to cultivate the ability of English autonomous learning of secondary vocational school students,actively guide students to strengthen their self-management ability in learning English,which is an important strategy to improve English teaching in secondary vocational schools.Facing the three challenges of self-management,self-education and independent cooperative learning of secondary vocational school students.this paper is guided by the English Syllabus of secondary vocational school and mainly focuses on the goal of English autonomous learning management of secondary vocational school students,makes an investigation and analysis on the English autonomous learning management of W vocational school students through questionnaire survey,after-class interview and class observation.According to the research background and significance of autonomous learning,the concepts of autonomous learning and English Autonomous Learning Management are introduced.In addition.this paper also considers the factors that are advantageous to the English autonomous learning and the factors that are restrict to the cultivation of the English autonomous learning through the relevant theoretical knowledge of autonomous learning management.At last,summarize and sort out the questionnaire data and cases from the five dimensions of motivation of autonomous learning management,goal plannning,methods of autonomous learning management,process management of autonomous learning and results evaluation of autonomous learning management.The research shows that students are always dependent on teachers,the goal of autonomous learning management is not clear,and they lack positive learning motivation and awareness of autonomous learning management So the current situation of students’ autonomous English learning is worrying and the current situation of autonomous learning management is not satisfactory.According to the actual situation of English teaching in secondary vocational schools and focusing on the cultivation of students’ autonomous ability,this research considers that it is meaningful and feasible to take the cultivation of students’ autonomous learning ability as a special research.It will play an important role and have a good learning effect if autonomous learning management is introduced into the new curriculum reform and the implementation of quality-oriented education.In view of the main problems,this paper also summarizes and explores the basic laws and strategic methods of English autonomous learning management for vocational school students,and suggests that secondary vocational school students should optimize the motivation of self-learning management and improve the effectiveness of self-monitoring,and as for teachers they should update and change teaching concepts in time,guide students to master self-learning management strategies suitable for their own characteristics,be able to carry out scientific self-assessment and arrange learning as a whole. |
