Athletes in the arena constantly make various fast and effective tactical decisions with various emotional experiences, such as joy when the decision is successful, and regret when the decision is wrong.Previous studies have shown that positive or negative emotions have a significant impact on athletes’ decision-making,but the relationship between regret and sports decision-making has been less studied. Therefore, this study intends to start with basketball tactical decision-making,use research methods and experimental paradigms of cognitive psychology, adopt a selfprogrammed basketball decision-making procedure, simulate game scenarios, and use EEG instruments to explore regret and execution through three series of experiments The relationship among function,decision-making and the neural mechanism that regret affects decision-making.Experiment 1 adopts 2(emotional state: regret, happiness)× 2(decision type:intuitive decision, cognitive decision)internal design to investigate the impact of regret emotion and decision type on basketball players’ decision.35 basketball players participated in the experimental study. The results show that the accuracy rate of athletes ’decision-making under regret is lower than the accuracy rate of happiness;the accuracy of athletes’ cognitive decision-making is higher than that of intuitive decisionmaking.Experiment 2 adopts the in-subject design of 2(emotional state: regret, happiness)× 2(decision type: intuitive decision, cognitive decision). The neural mechanism of different emotions and decision-making is studied at the level of neural mechanism, and the nerves that regret emotions have an adverse effect on decision-making are explained to a certain extent.Level of reason.17 athletes participated in the experimental research(4 first-level athletes,second-level athletes 13 athletes, average age 21.7).The results show that:(1)The correct rate of decision-making under regret is lower than that of happy emotion, and the correct rate of cognitive decision is higher than that of intuitive decision-making;(2)The average volatility of FRN component of regret emotion is greater than that of happy emotion and frontal area The average volatility is greater than the top zone and pillow zone. The average volatility of the P3 and LPC late components of regret is less than that of happiness, and regret is successfully induced.(3)ERP for the influence of two emotions on decision-making:emotions and decision types have no significant main effect on the average amplitude of decision P3.Experiment 3 includes three sub-experiments,all using 2(emotional state: regret, happy)× 2(executive function sub-components: high grouping, low grouping)× 2(decision type: intuitive decision, cognitive decision)mixed design. The influences of regret emotions, executive function subcomponents(conversion, suppression, refresh)and decision types on basketball players’ decision-making were discussed separately.76 athletes participated in the experimental study and were divided into high and low groups according to the test results of the three subcomponents of executive function, with 20 people in each group. The results show that the refresh function and emotional state interact significantly on the impact on decision-making.With the high refresh function grouping, there are significant differences in the correctness of decisionmaking under different emotional states.Decision correctness rate. There is no significant difference in decision correctness rate under different emotions in refreshing low grouping.Refreshing function and emotional state have significant interaction on the impact of decision making. In the high conversion grouping, decision making under different emotions is correct. There are significant differences in the rates. The correct rate of decision-making under happy mood is greater than the correct rate of decisionmaking under regret. There is a significant marginal difference in the correct rate of decision-making under different emotions in the low conversion group.Right decision making under regret. The conclusions of this study are:(1)Regret emotion has a negative impact on the basketball player’s decision-making behavior, which has nothing to do with the type of decision-making(intuitive decision-making,cognitive decision-making);(2)There is no difference in the P3 component of basketball players’ decision-making process between regret and happiness. The negative impact of regret on decision-making may be related to the processing and integration of the two clues of body posture and situational probability;(3)The refreshing and transforming sub-components of executive function have a moderating effect on the influence of regret emotions on basketball players ’decision-making.
