| Since the new century,the youth group living in the modern lives have been intentionally exposed by the film-makers from both sides of the Taiwan Straits with fresh lens language and witty cinematic view.Despite of the similar subject content and route of story,cross-Strait youth movies were developed in totally different imaging space.In this way,two contradictory scenes were described with characters and scenarios in different styles.In this paper,we started with the quantitative analysis of the imaging spaces of the Cross-Strait youth movies.By comparing the movie scenes in Taiwan represented by the café and the snack bar to the movie scenes in Mainland such as luxury hotels and High-rise buildings,the social status and living situations of the movie characters were respectively uncovered in the conclusion.In addition,the identities of the movie characters were also discussed in our work.By gathering the diverse experiences during the adolescence of them,the attitudes toward family affection,friendship and romance were sketched in the imaging spaces of the Cross-Strait youth movies.In the meantime,based on the above conclusion,the significance and feeling of youth established in these two disparate imaging space were evaluated at last.These approaches suggest a positive proposal for the audience of the popular youth movies. |
