The group of Jiangnan official poet in Early Yuan Dynasty,is a special population of the official in the south of the Yangtze river which formed after the collapse of Song Dynasty.This group isolated from the adherents of Song Dynasty and became an edge group of alien dynasty ruling clique.They served as the official because of poverty,but then they felt regret and returned to the hermitage road.This life history and complex mentality clearly reflects the living circumstances of Southerner group in song-yuan transitional times.The group take poetry as a tool to express feeling,to make friends and even to influence the development of Yuan poetry.Although they entered political stratum but they all look forward to hermit life,they experienced a lot of caprylic acid In the crevice between Officialdom and Reclusion,so they used poetry to record their spiritual course.Reflected in the poetry,their friends also tend to the seclusion group,and their communication with officials in the Yuan Dynasty just to exchange artistic experience but not to play up to people of power.Therefore,the internal and external companionship of poets in Jiangnan determined that they are special group of seclusion.This group is lived as hermits in educational institution and regard the inheritance of culture in Song Dynasty as their responsibility.They put forward the "Zong Tang De Gu","Poems Convey Disposition" and other common poetry principle in order to correct disadvantages of poems in the Late Song Dynasty.The poetic view of this group promote the virtuous transition of the Song poetry to Yuan poem and make a positive impact on the development of poetry in Yuan Dynasty.
