The Chinese TV talent show,whose development received a mixed reaction,began at the early 1980s.Though abuse outnumbered praise of the talent show,we have to admit that,firstly,the TV talent show has been a most mainstream form of people’s entertainment gossip;secondly,the TV talent brand images have been caught enough attention from the audiences.Therefore,it is of great necessity for the study on the art of character logo of talent show brand.This thesis aims mainly to analyze the guidance from" Six Ways of Chinese Painting Art Theory"and"Mass Communication Theory”to the study of character logo designing in talent shows.Especially,though the analyses of how the theories enlighten the ethnic and regional arts,the thesis explores and discusses the overall design rules and methods of the character logo designing of talent shows,with the hope to providing creative thinking,techniques and designing experiences.The thesis consists of five parts.The first part describes the sources of the topic,innovative points and research methodologies.The second part,then,mainly analyze the designing of character logo in talent shows.Through a recognition of characters and a comparative analyses of the designing at home and abroad,the author finds out that the character logo designing is not only a matter of shape,but also a matter of contents and the regional characteristics,on which base the aesthetics processing would be made for a perfection in words’ sharp,content and meaning.The third part analyzes the designing characteristics of character logo in Chinese TV talent show.It discusses how the mass communicative theories,such as "international trend"," humane tendency"and"commercial art trend",affect the character logo designing in Chinese TV talent shows.Relative cases are analyzed to verify the above statements.The forth part discusses the future development of the character logo designing in Chinese TV talent shows,and points out the defaults and resolutions.Besides,the author also adopts Shaikh’ s Six Ways for Chinese painting art to aid the designing practice,which put the theory into practice.At last,the fifth part concludes the thesis and calls for more regionalization and ethnic characteristic elements so as to activate the visual vitality of character logo in China’ s TV talent shows.
