Objectives: Objective to investigate the influencing factors and degree of satisfaction and depression of service objects in elderly caring social organizations in Anhui Province.To analyze the correlation between organizational satisfaction and depression level of service objects.Put forward new corresponding measures to reduce the depression level of service objects in elderly caring social organizations and improve satisfaction,promote the development of elderly caring social organizations.It provides a new perspective for China’s aging work and promotes the profound development of healthy ageing theory and practice in China.Methods: Using the method of multi-stage stratified sampling,two cities were selected in southern Anhui,central Anhui and Northern Anhui.30-45 pension social organizations were selected from each city.The elderly over 60 years old shall be selected according to 10% of the service objects in each social organization.Each institution shall investigate up to 10 people,and all those less than or equal to 5 people shall be investigated.The self-made general situation questionnaire,self-made organization satisfaction scale and the simplified Center for emotional Studies Depression Scale(CES-D 10)were used for investigation.The data were collected by questionnaire star software and statistically analyzed by SPSS 26.0.The statistical analysis methods used in this study includes descriptive analysis,one-way ANOVA,independent sample t-test Multiple linear regression,Pearson correlation and Binary logistic regression.Results:(1)Reliability and validity of organizational satisfaction scale: in terms of validity,two principal components were extracted by principal component analysis,and the cumulative contribution rate of the extracted principal components was 64.079%.On the reliability of the questionnaire,organizational satisfaction Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient is 0.908.What’s more,Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of satisfaction in all dimensions is more than 0.8.(2)Basic information of respondents: 1167 valid samples were finally included,with an effective response rate of 94.57%;There are 402(34.40%)in Northern Anhui,486(41.70%)in central Anhui and 279(23.90%)in southern Anhui.The average age of the service objects in elderly caring social organizations was 79.32 ± 7.98 years old.The average serviced time was 5.69 ± 4.95 years.More males than females.Most of them are agricultural accounts,accounting for 70.44%.Most of the service objects in elderly caring social organizations were educated in primary school or below,accounting for80.12%.More than half of the service objects in elderly caring social organizations were widowed;About one third of the respondents have no children;The main sources of income are retirement pension(25.27%),subsistence allowance(30.51%),and support from other family members(33.85%);55.44% service objects in elderly caring social organizations had chronic disease.19.62% and 22.62% service objects did not and rarely met their relatives respectively.(3)Organizational satisfaction of service objects: the average score of environmental satisfaction is(17.76 ± 2.63),the average score of service quality satisfaction is(33.97± 4.59),and the average score of organizational satisfaction is(51.74 ± 6.50).Multiple linear regression results showed that region,main economic sources and meeting frequency with relatives were the influencing factors of environmental satisfaction scores of service objects in elderly caring social organizations(P< 0.05),and the scores of service quality satisfaction and organizational satisfaction of service objects in elderly caring social organizations in region,number of children,main economic sources The frequency of meeting relatives was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(4)Depression level of service objects: the average score of depression of service objects in elderly caring social organizations in Anhui Province was(6.01 ± 4.96),and the incidence of depression was 20.48%,of which mild depression accounted for 18.51%and moderate and severe depression accounted for 1.97%.This study uses multiple linear regression analysis,the results show that region,gender,main economic sources and frequency of meeting relatives had significant effects on the depression scores of service objects in elderly caring social organization(P< 0.05).(5)Correlation between organizational satisfaction and depression: Through the results of Pearson correlation analysis,we can see that there is a significant negative correlation between organizational satisfaction and depression(r =-0.386,P < 0.01).Environmental satisfaction score and service quality satisfaction score were also significantly negatively correlated with depression score.After adjusting covariates,according to the results of binary logistic regression analysis,the service objects with unsatisfactory service objects(OR = 3.129,P < 0.001)were more likely to be depressed compared with the control group.Conclusions: The self-made satisfaction scale in this study has high reliability and validity.The organizational satisfaction of the service objects in elderly caring social organizations in Anhui Province is above the middle level,and is affected by many factors,such as different regions,the number of children,the frequency of meeting with relatives and main economic sources.The depression level of the respondents is relatively high.The demographic factors affecting the depression level include region,gender,chronic disease,frequency of meeting with relatives and main economic sources.There was a significant negative correlation between service object organizational satisfaction and depression level in elderly caring social organizations. Organizational satisfaction was the influencing factor of depression level.It is suggested that elderly caring social organizations should improve the organizational satisfaction by improving the environment and service quality,regularly carrying out depression evaluation,providing a variety of recreational activities,strengthening mental health education and publicity,then effectively improve their mental health.
