Case Study Of Government’s Regionalized Emergency Management In Yaan COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention And Control

With the constant growth of population and rapid urban development,Public health emergencies of all kinds have become a major challenge for countries around the world,which not only seriously harms people’s lives and health,but also affects social stability and hinders economic development.The prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic has tested the emergency management ability of governments at all levels,and provided an opportunity for us to further establish and improve the emergency management system.On this basis,the government can take effective crisis management strategies and perfect preventive measures to improve the response capacity in emergency situations.Since the SARS outbreak in 2003,the attention paid to domestic academic research on management of various public health emergencies has been increasing year by year.In China,some progress has been made in the basic research and practice of the theory of public health emergency management.However,government’s regionalized emergency management is still rarely studied.The outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic has brought great challenges to the health and social order of the people,and it is also a severe test of emergency management at all levels of local government.Against the backdrop of coping with the COVID-19 epidemic,government’s regionalized emergency management must attach importance to the interconnection of all units in one region,so as to optimally combine public health emergency resources available in the region.Currently,Chine has formed a new crown pneumonia virus joint prevention and control mechanism of COVID-19 epidemic,and It also played an important role in epidemic prevention and control.To further improve the efficiency of regional emergency coordination,it is urgent to overcome the contradictions of cross-regional linkage,territorial control,fragmentation of resource allocation etc,thus promoting the process coordination of all stages of the epidemic life cycle and improve China’s public health crisis handling capacity.With Yaan City as the case,this paper explores and discusses the countermeasures of government’s regionalized emergency management of COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control,aiming at proposing countermeasures and gaining enlightenment from the research,so as to further strengthen the government’s regionalized emergency management capacity,and improve the government’s social mobilization skills and administrative coordination ability.
