ObjectiveTo summarize the characteristics of TCM syndromes in patients with glucocorticosteroid-induced osteoporosis osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture and evaluate the curative effect of vertebroplasty.MethodThe patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures(OVCFs)hospitalized in our hospital from January 2017 to April 2020 were divided into glucocorticoid-induced osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures group(25 cases)and osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures group(100 cases)according to the history of glucocorticoid use.According to the symptoms before fracture,125 patients in two groups were classified into TCM syndromes.General data of sex, age, bone mineral density and fracture vertebral body were collected in group A and B.VAS,ODI score, injury vertebral height, local Cobb angle, cement leakage rate and the incidence of re-fracture were compared between the two groups before operation, after operation, and at the last follow-up.Result1.Comparison of general information:the general information of 2 groups preoperative was no statistical significance(P>0.05),was comparable.2.The comparison of 2 groups of results:In group A,kidney-yang deficiency syndrome was the main syndrome, accounting for 48% of the total number;followed by kidney-yin deficiency syndrome in 6 cases, accounting for 24% of the total number;followed by spleen-stomach Qi deficiency syndrome and blood stasis syndrome, accounting for 12% of the total number;liver depression and qi stagnation syndrome was the least, accounting for4% of the total number. In group A,multi-level fractures were common, and the distribution of fracture vertebrae was similar between the two groups. The VAS and ODI scores of the two groups were significantly improved after operation and the last time, but there was no significant difference between the two groups. There were no significant differences in operation time, hospital stay, cement leakage, preoperative and postoperative vertebral height and local Cobb angle between the two groups. However, the vertebral height and local Cobb angle were lost during the follow-up in group A,and the incidence of re-fracture was higher than that in group B,with statistical significance.ConclusionGlucocorticosteroid-induced osteoporosis patients with vertebral compression fractures are mostly based on kidney deficiency syndrome.Primary disease and use medicaments for a long time to see kidney Yang deficiency decline more. The location of fracture is similar to that of OVCFs,but the incidence of multi-vertebral fracture is higher. The short-term effect of PKP/PVP is satisfactory. However, there are some problems such as recollapse of the fracture vertebrae and the fracture of adjacent segments during follow-up.It is necessary to give active anti-osteoporosis treatment and closely follow-up after operation.
