Meta-analysis Of The Efficacy Of Traditional Chinese Medicine On Chronic Pharyngitis And Professor Zhang Qinxiu’s Experience In Treating Chronic Pharyngitis

Objective: This article uses meta-analysis to further systematically reviews the safety and effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of chronic pharyngitis.At the same time,it summarizes the experience of Professor Zhang Qinxiu in the treatment of chronic pharyngitis from the clinical follower.The treatment provides more evidence-based medicine basic basis and practical experience reference.Methods: According to Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions strictly,this study searcheed CNKI,VIP,Wanfang,Pub Med,Cochrane library,select documents that meet the requirements according to the established retrieval requirements,extract data,quality review,etc.,and then uses Re Manr 5.3 for meta-analysis.Results: Nine original studies,all random experiment,were included in this study,which were divided into two subgroups(the test group is all oral Chinese medicine,and the control group is divided into oral western medicine and Chinese patent medicine),a total of 1227 people,the test group 649 people,control Group of 578 people.Meta-analysis: The clinical total effective rate RR and its 95% CI are 1.19 [1.13,1.25],I2=51%>50%,P=0.04≤0.05,there is great heterogeneity among the 9 studies,There is a large heterogeneity among the 9 studies,and between the experimental group and the control group significant differences are there.Subgroup analysis: Western medicine group: I2=39%≤50%,P = 0.14 > 0.05,RR=1.21,95% CI=[1.13,1.29],with less heterogeneity;Traditional Chinese Medicine group: I2 = 69% > 50%,P=0.04≤0.05,RR=1.16,95% CI=[1.08,1.24],which is quite heterogeneous.Sensitivity analysis: I2= 30%≤50%,p = 0.19 > 0.05,RR = 1.23 > 1,95%CI=[1.15,1.31],far from the original study and highly sensitivity.Adverse reactions meta counted in 3 studies(P>0.05),and meta-analysis’ s were not statistically significant.Conclusion: In the treatment of chronic pharyngitis,Traditional Chinese medicine is more effective than western medicine/Chinese patent medicine.The results are statistically different,and the incidence of adverse reactions is low,which has better safety.The subgroup analysis to solve the heterogeneity suggests that the Chinese patent medicine group has great heterogeneity.Further sensitivity analysis shows that there are important and potential bias factors in a certain research of Chinese patent medicine group,which are closely related to research decision-making.After careful examination of this literature,it is found that the observation time of curative effect judgment is shorter than other literatures,and there is a high risk of bias when counting the total clinical effective number,which affects the accuracy of outcome data and widens the gap with other literatures,thus increasing the heterogeneity of the original nine literatures.Professor Zhang Qinxiu’s experience in treating chronic pharyngitis: Clinically,Professor Zhang Qinxiu adheres to the principle of strengthening body resistance and eliminating pathogenic factors as a supplement.He is especially good at using emotional dredging method combined with modified Shashen Maidong Decoction to treat chronic pharyngitis,and assisted by throat needling method,which has a good curative effect.
