Study On Frailty Level And Influencing Factors Of The Elderly In The Community Of Changsha

Objective(1)Through investigation,analyze the frailty of the elderly in the community of Changsha;(2)Analyze the influencing factors of the frailty of the elderly in the community of Changsha from different perspectives,and in-depth explore the mechanism of interaction between the factors.MethodsIn this study,a multi-stage sampling method was used to randomly select the elderly ≥80 years old in the community of Changsha City as the research object.General information questionnaire,comprehensive frailty assessment tool,simple mental state assessment scale,UCLA loneliness scale,ability of daily living scale,simplified geriatric depression scale,and revised facial expression pain scale were used to meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the elderly conduct household surveys.Use Excel sheet to enter the original data,statistical software SPSS21.0 to perform statistical analysis on the data,including statistical description,normality test,t test,analysis of variance,rank sum test,correlation analysis,multiple linear regression analysis,and Use AMOS21.0 software to fit the structural equation model,and the test level is α=0.05.Results(1)A total of 312 subjects were included in this study,with an average age of(83.40±3.36)years old.The cognitive function,loneliness,ability of daily living,depression,and chronic pain of the elderly are as follows: the cognitive function is equally divided into(24.05±5.02)points,and 60.3% of the elderly have mild or moderate cognitive dysfunction;loneliness;the average score is(39.83±9.74),70.5% of the elderly have moderate or above loneliness;the average ability of daily living is(83.08±21.64),with 25.3% taking care of themselves completely,and74.7% of the elderly have impaired self-care ability;depression was divided into(1.31±1.43)points,the detection rate of depressive symptoms was 39.1%;the reporting rate of chronic pain was 64.7%.(2)The total mean score of frailty for the elderly in the community of Changsha is(46.36±10.82),and the average scores for each dimension item are as follows: physical frailty(7.39±2.57),mental frailty(17.79±4.30),social frailty(11.95±3.51)points,environmental weakness(9.16±3.13)points,and the rate of weakness is 100%.(3)The single factor analysis results show: gender,age,body mass index(BMI),education level,marital status,living status,income and expenditure,the number of falls within a year,the number of hospitalizations within a year,the types of chronic diseases,the number of medications,Physical exercise,intelligence training,and selfevaluated health status are related to the total score of frailty(P<0.05).The results of Pearson correlation analysis showed that depression,chronic pain,loneliness score and total frailty score,physical frailty score,mental frailty score,social frailty score,and environmental frailty score were positively correlated(P<0.05);cognitive function,ability of daily living The score was negatively correlated with the total frailty score,the physical frailty score,the mental frailty score,the social frailty score,and the environmental frailty score(P<0.05).(4)The results of multiple linear regression showed that the number of medications,depression and loneliness had a positive predictive relationship with the total frailty score.Physical exercise and cognitive function scores could negatively predict the total frailty score,and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05).(5)The results of the structural equation model show that cognitive function,loneliness,and depression have a direct impact on the frailty of the elderly in the community,and the cognitive function is still between loneliness,ability of daily living,depression,chronic pain and frailty of the elderly.To a certain intermediary role.Conclusions(1)The incidence of frailty among the elderly in the community of Changsha City is relatively high,and the four aspects of physical,psychological,social and environmental frailty all show varying degrees of frailty.(2)The debilitating factors of the elderly in the community include the number of medications,physical exercise,cognitive function,loneliness,ability of daily living,depression,chronic pain and so on.
