Intertan And Pfna Internal Fixation Methods For The Treatment Of Intertrochanteric Fractures In Patients With Osteoporosis

BackgroundWith the advent of an aging society,osteoporosis patients is increasing,and in pat-ients with osteoporotic fractures,hip fractures are common in the hip fractures,fractures accounted for more than 50% between the rotor rotor between fractures in patients with either physical or psychological will cause serious damage to the understanding of the fracture between the rotor and the treatment has experienced a long developing process from three-wing nail to many pins,and then to anatomical plate,dynamic hip screw end fixed by intramedullary pin At present,the focus of research and discussion mainly focuses on intramedullary needle fixation.PFNA and InterTAN are two new surgical methods for the treatment of intertrochanteric fractures,and the advantages and disadvantages of PFNA and InterTAN have become the current hot spots.ObjectiveWe investigate the efficacy of InterTAN and PFNA internal fixation materials in the treatment of intertrochanteric fractures in patients with osteoporosis.It is helpful for surgeons to choose more suitable surgical methods for different patients and has certain guiding significance for clinical work.MethodsA retrospective analysis was made on the data of 51 patients with osteoporotic intertrochanteric fracture who needed PFNA and InterTAN intramedullary nail fixation in Jinan Central Hospital and Linyi People’s Hospital from January 2017 to January 2018.Among them,33 patients were in PFNA group and 18 patients in InterTAN group.The operation was performed by a physician or above or in their own specialty.Doctors who have been in operation for more than five years have observed the operation time,blood loss,hip function and VAS score.SPSS25.0 software was used to analyze the collected data by t-test and chi-square test.ResultsFifty-one eligible cases were collected in this study.Among them,the blood volume of patients undergoing PFNA fixation was 150.28±23.76 and that of patients undergoing InterTAN internal fixation was 170.15±25.14 and that of PFNA group was 85.14±5.25,and that of InterTAN group was 179.44±10.25.Harris score was 93% in PFNA group and100% in InterTAN group.In PFNA group,the VAS scores before,24 hours after and one month after operation were 8.25±0.45,2.90+0.96 and 3.11±0.55.The VAS scores before,24 hours after and one month after operation in the InterTAN group were 8.67 ±0.95,2.55±0.25 and 2.02±0.34.ConclusionThe results of PFNA and InterTAN were the same regardless of the operation time or the amount of bleeding.Compared with PFNA,InterTAN is superior to PFNA in postoperative pain.PFNA and InterTAN had the same effect on hip function score.
