Objective:To compare the clinical outcomes with Inter TAN vs PFNA or PFNA-Ⅱ in the treatment of unstable intertrochanteric fractures in elderlyethod. Methods:The databases of Cochrane,Embase,Pub Med,and CNKI,Wanfang and VIP were searched, and the literatures comparing Inter TAN vs PFNA or PFNA-Ⅱ for the treatment of elderly unstable intertrochanteric fractures were searched. The search period was from December to December 2019.Two reviewers independently read and screened the literature, extracted the data, and evaluated the quality.Meta-analysis was performed using Rev Man5.3 software. Results:A total of 1349 patients were included in 8 studies.Meta analysis results show that Inter TAN is not significantly different from PFNA in terms of operative time and fluoroscopy time, and is longer than PFNA-Ⅱ;Inter TAN internal fixation is used in screw removal after surgery, hip and thigh pain, femoral shaft fractures, and secondary surgery. It is better than PFNA and PFNA-Ⅱ,and there is no significant difference between Inter TAN and PFNA and PFNA-Ⅱin intraoperative blood loss, length of hospital stay, and Harris score after operation. Conclusion:For patients with osteoporosis and poor stability,Inter TAN can provide better stability and reduce postoperative complications;for patients with poor general conditions and greater risk of surgery,PFNA-Ⅱ internal fixation can be selected.
