| Objective To analyze the correlation between the main gaseous pollutants and the number of outpatient visits for acne, and making the model which was constructed according to different seasons, age groups, and gender in Lanzhou,China. Methods Clinical data of daily number of outpatient visits for acne, meteorological factors and gaseous air pollutants(SO2,NO2,O38h)during the period from 2013.1.18 to 2019.12.31 were collected in Lanzhou.A distributed lag nonlinear model(DLNM)was used to analyze the lag and cumulative effect of SO2,NO2,O38h on the number of outpatient visits for acne, based on controlling confounding variables such as long-term trend and“day-of-week”effect.At the same time, the model was constructed based on the different seasons, gender and age. Results 1.The average daily number of outpatient visits for acne during the study period was 34.88±18.50.The average concentrations of SO2,NO2,O38h were22.54μg/m3,45.51μg/m3,86.91μg/m3respectively.The Spearman correlation analysis showed that acne outpatients were positively correlated with NO2,SO2was positively correlated with O38h,NO2was positively correlated with SO2,O38h.2.In the single pollutant model, every 10μg/m3increase in SO2,NO2concentration had the most significant lag effect of the total number of outpatients with acne all in lag1d,outpatients increase by 2.72%and 2.01%,respectively.When SO2and NO2concentration increases by every 10μg/m3,outpatients for female with acne significantly higher than male, outpatients increase by 2.86%and 2.35%,respectively,every 10μg/m3increase in O38h concentration had the most significant lag effect of outpatients with male acne in lag5d,outpatients increase by 0.69%.When SO2concentration increases by every 10μg/m3,the effect on acne outpatients aged19~24 years was the most significant in all age groups,in lag1d,the effect size was the highest which was 2.74%.When NO2and O38h concentration increases by every10μg/m3,the effect on 0~18 years old acne outpatients was respectively reached the highest in lag6d and lag4d which was 2.56%and 1.81%,respectively.3.In the double pollution model,SO2and O38h were included separately, the effect of NO2on daily acne outpatients volume was weakened and enhanced, respectively. Conclusions 1.The relationship between SO2,NO2and O38h concentration in air and daily number of outpatient visits for acne was positively, the change of SO2concentration has a significant impact on the amount of daily outpatients with acne.2.The different gender and age groups have different sensitivity to gaseous pollutants, with female and aged 19~24 acne outpatients are most sensitive to the change of SO2and NO2concentrations,with male and aged 0~18 acne outpatients are most sensitive to change of O38h concentration.3.There is an interaction between SO2,NO2and O38h on the amount of acne outpatients. |
