Objectives Select the "complementary acupoints" Neiguan and Waiguan as the main points, and adopt the technique of penetrating acupuncture to treat insomnia. To preliminarily observe the clinical efficacy and stability. Methods 160 patients with insomnia who met the relevant inclusion criteria were selected. The "complementary acupoints" Neiguan and Waiguan were used as the main points for penetrating acupuncture treatment. The main acupoints were selected as bilateral Neiguan and Waiguan, and the subordinate acupoints were bilateral Shenmen and Sanyinjiao. The main acupoint adopts the technique of penetrating acupuncture from the Neiguan to Waiguan, and the subordinate acupoints are treated with conventional acupuncture. After acupuncture,The needles were kept for 30 minutes, once a day for treatment,a course of treatment for 6times,each course of treatment needs to rest for 1 day,a total of 4 weeks of treatment.Patients were followed up 1 month after the end of treatment and 3 months later.Taking the scores of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),Insomnia Severity Index(ISI),Epworth Sleepiness Scale(ESS)and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)as observation indexes, the changes of scale scores of patients before treatment, during treatment,at the end of treatment and during follow-up were analyzed and compared. After statistical analysis,a conclusion is drawn. Results Comparison of curative effect: after the treatment of the 160 patients,21 cases were cured,53 cases were significantly effective,68 cases were effective,18 cases were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 88.75%.2.Comparison of PSQI scores: the total score and scores of all patients at each observation time point were significantly decreased compared with those before treatment, with statistical significance(P < 0.05).Comparison of ISI scores: Compared with the patients before and after treatment, the ISI scores of the patients decreased, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Comparison of ESS score: After treatment,ESS score decreased somewhat compared with before treatment,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant. Results of 5SAS score: SAS scores of all patients were relatively stable from before treatment to after treatment, and there was no significant difference by ANOVA(P > 0.05).Conclusions Using " complementary points" Neiguan and Waiguan as the main points to treat insomnia has a certain effect.2 Using " complementary points" as the main point to treat insomnia is not easy to relapse, and the curative effect is stable and lasting.3 Treating insomnia with " complementary acupoints" as the main acupoint can significantly improve the patient’s insomnia in all aspects and improve the overall sleep quality.4 The use of "complementary acupoints" as the main acupoint to treat insomnia has fewer acupoints,is easy to operate, and has clinical application value.Figure [zero];Table [eight];Reference [one hundred and twelve]...
