| ObjectiveUsed traditional Chinese medicine of“Bushen Zhuanggu”,combined with androgen deprivation therapy and zoledronic acid to treat advanced prostate cancer and osteoporosis patients.Divided into the experimental and control group,through a variety of evaluation scale,blood tests,imaging results of data collection and analysis,objective and comprehensive evaluation of two factors on the bone metabolism index and life quality of patients,so as to study whether“Bushen Zhuanggu”could improve bone loss status and quality of life of advanced prostate cancer and osteoporosis patients.MethodsA prospective controlled study,in 2017/01 to 2017/09 of Department of Urology of Guangdong Province Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital of advanced prostate cancer and osteoporosis patients in 40 cases,according to the wishes of patients,divided into experimental group(28 cases)and control group(12 cases),the experimental group was treated with Bushen Zhuanggu prescription,control group was given routine scheme.The observation period was 6 months,and the symptom score of Chinese medicine,the international prostate IPSS score,the VAS score,and the Cartesian(KS)score were scored every 3 months.Every 6 months,bone mineral density(BMD)and blood test were used to detect prostate specific antigen(PSA),testosterone(T)and bone metabolism items(PINP,β-CTX,N-MID)and serum calciu.Results3 cases were eliminated in the control group.The final effective cases were 37 cases,the experimental group has 28 cases,and the control group has9 cases.Statistical analysis of the experimental group significantly increase the level of serum N-MID and KS score,decrease TCM symptom score(P<0.01);no significant effect on serum PSA,testosterone,PINP,β-CTX,serum calcium,BMD,IPSS score,VAS score(P>0.05).ConclusionThe method of “Bushen Zhuanggu”can promote osteoblast maturation,while improving the the quality of life of advanced prostate cancer patients with osteoporosis. |
