Risk Factors Of Wheezing In Infants After Bronchiolitis

Objective: To explore the risk factors of recurrent wheezing in infants after bronchiolitis,and to study the influence of different risk factors on recurrent wheezing,so as to provide strategies for clinical treatment and prevention.Methods: 492 patients with bronchiolitis in pediatric respiratory ward of Shengjing Hospital from January 2016 to December 2018 were selected and divided into wheezing group(147 cases)and non wheezing group(345 cases)according to the recurrence of wheezing after bronchiolitis,the data of the selected cases were collected,the risk factors were analyzed and the incidence of recurrent wheezing in patients with different risk factors for bronchiolitis was calculated.Results: 1.This study suggested that the recurrent wheezing rate of infants after bronchiolitis was 29.9%.2.Univariate analysis showed that breast-feeding,artificial feeding,history of eczema,positive allergen reported by parents,family history of asthma,parents suffering from allergic disease,smoke exposure and severe illness had effects on wheezing after bronchiolitis(P < 0.05),and breast-feeding was a protective factor(P < 0.05).3.Binary Logistic regression analysis of the above data showed that the risk factors of wheezing after bronchiolitis included: positive allergen reported by parents,parents suffering from allergic diseases,smoke exposure,and severe illness.4.The rate of recurrent wheezing in patients with severe illness was 16.7%.The rate of recurrent wheezing in bronchiolitis patients with allergen-positive was 22.4%.The recurrent wheezing rate in bronchiolitis patients whose parents had allergic disease was 43.8%.The recurrent wheezing rate in bronchiolitis patients with smoke exposure was48.3%.The recurrent wheezing rate of severe illness with positive allergens was 75%.The recurrent wheezing rate of patients with severe illness combined with parents with allergic disease was 33.3%.Patients with severe illness with smoke exposure had a recurrent wheezing rate of 100%.The recurrent wheezing rate of bronchiolitis patients with positive allergens and parents with allergic disease was 54.5%;The recurrent wheezing rate of bronchiolitis patients with positive allergens and smoke exposure was61.8%.The rate of recurrent wheezing in bronchiolitis patients whose parents had allergic diseases and smoke exposure was 61.5%.The recurrent wheezing rate of bronchiolitis patients with positive allergens,parents with allergic diseases,and smoke exposure was85.7%.The recurrent wheezing rate of bronchiolitis patients with severe illness and parents with allergic disease and smoke exposure was 100%.The recurrent wheezing rate of bronchiolitis patients with severe illness,allergen-positive,smoke exposure was:50%.The recurrent wheezing rate of patients with all four risk factors was 100%.Conclusion: 1.The recurrent wheezing rate of infants with bronchiolitis was 29.9%,which was at a high level.2.The risk factors of wheezing after bronchiolitis were severe illness,positive allergen reported by parents,parents suffering from allergic disease and smoke exposure.3.The more risk factors,the higher probability of wheezing after bronchiolitis。...
