| Objectives:We have been trying to explore a more accurate expression of interleukin-19(IL-19)in chronic sinusitis with nasal polyp patients complicated allergic rhinitis, asthma and their specific uses that may arise in the course of practical application.Material and Methods:Inpatients with chronic sinusitis with nasal polyps who received endoscopic surgery in our department from January 2017 to September 2019 were selected, according to the symptoms and signs as well as the results of preoperative examinations,20 patients with definite diagnosis and asthma were included as the asthma group,27 patients with allergic rhinitis(AR)were classified as AR group,29 patients with chronic sinusitis with nasal polyps were selected as the control group.IL-19expression in tissues was measured by immunohistochemical staining and Image J software was used to calculate the average optical density. The aim of applying SPSS22.0 was to count and contrast the level of IL-19 in three groups,we thought about statistical significance was P<0.05.Results:The average proportion of IL-19 in polyp tissues in AR group(0.101±0.034/HPF)was significantly higher than that in control group(0.074±0.023/HPF),with statistical significance(P<0.01).The mean proportion of IL-19 in polyps of patients with asthma(0.076±0.040)was not obvious different from that of the control group. The rate of secondary nasal endoscopic surgery and the percentage of eosinophils in peripheral blood in asthma group were higher than those in AR group and control group(P<0.05).The Lund-Mackay scores of sinus were significantly different among the three groups(P<0.05),and in the AR group and the control group, the correlation of IL-19 was positively.(r AR=0.845,rc=0.425,P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with the patients of chronic sinusitis and nasal polyp, the expression level of IL-19 increased significantly in the tissue of combined allergic rhinitis patients with polyps,a expression of IL-19 in the merger of allergic disease onset of chronic sinusitis and nasal polyp process plays a key role and associated with the severity of disease. |
