Objective To explore the expression and significance of androgen receptor(AR)and its splicing variant(AR-V7)in bladder cancer tissues. Methods Collected tissue specimens from 40 laparoscopic radical bladder cancer patients who were hospitalized in General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University from June 2019 to February 2021.The HE staining method was used to detect the histopathological changes of bladder cancer and adjacent tissues.According to the classification system established by WHO/ISUP,they are divided into low-grade urothelial cancer group and high-grade urothelial cancer group.Immunohistochemistry and Western-Blot were used to detect the distribution and expression changes of AR and AR-V7 in bladder cancer and adjacent tissues;Chi-square test was used to analyze the expression level of AR and AR-V7 protein and the patient’s gender, age, and pathological grade There is no statistical difference in clinical indicators such as clinical staging and whether it is accompanied by type 2 diabetes. Results AR and AR-V7 are expressed in bladder cancer and adjacent tissues, and are nucleus positive.Compared with adjacent tissues, the expression of AR and AR-V7 in cancer tissues was reduced(P<0.05);and compared with the low-grade bladder cancer group, the expressions of AR and AR-V7 were reduced in the high-grade bladder cancer group(P<0.05)).AR and AR-V7 have different expressions in different clinical stages of bladder cancer(P<0.05),but there is no significant difference in clinical indicators such as age, gender, and type 2 diabetes(P>0.05).Conclusion 1.The expression levels of AR and AR-V7 in bladder cancer tissues are statistically different from pathological grades and clinical stages;2.The expression changes of AR and AR-V7 in bladder cancer tissue may be related to the occurrence and progression of bladder cancer.
