ObjectiveThrough the analysis of the influencing factors of constipation in fracture patients, four methods of orthopedic patients’ conventional constipation care, plantar warm compress, sesame oil, plantar warm compress combined with sesame oil were applied to the constipation care of fracture patients, and the differences in the effects of the four interventions were compared. It explores the effect of plantar hot compress and sesame oil on the nursing of fracture patients with constipation and provides corresponding theoretical basis, providing a new nursing idea for clinical fracture patients with constipation.MethodsThe 128 patients with fracture constipation admitted to the study were divided into four groups A,B,C and D,grandom number table method, with 32 cases in each.Group A implemented conventional orthopedic constipation care measures, and group B received orthopedic care.Routine constipation care combined with plantar warm compress care, group C received orthopedic conventional constipation care combined with sesame oil care, and group D received orthopedic conventional constipation care and plantar compress combined with sesame oil.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS version 25.0 software to compare the baseline data of the four groups of patients, the constipation symptom score before and after treatment, the percentage improvement, the first bowel after the intervention, the interval between two bowel movements after the intervention, and the time spent on the first bowel after the intervention.Statistical difference,if there is a difference, take multiple comparison analysis between groups, and P<0.05 indicates that the difference is statistically different.Results(1)There was no statistical difference between the basic information from the four patient groups of patients and the before intervention constipation symptom score(P>0.05),and they were comparable.(2)Symptoms of postoperative constipation One of the four intervention groups was better than before. The scores of constipation symptoms after intervention and the scores of constipation symptoms before intervention were statistically different in the four groups(P<0.05).After the intervention of the four groups of patients, the scores of constipation symptoms in each item were not statistically different except for the frequency of constipation(P>0.05),and the other items and total scores had statistical differences(P<0.05).After comparison between the groups,it was found that in the constipation symptom item score after the intervention, there was no significant difference in the frequency of constipation combined with sesame oil in the plantar compress and the other three groups(P>0.05),and no significant difference in the abdominal distension score with the sesame oil group(P>0.05).The item was statistically different from the other three groups(P< 0.05).After the comparison between the total group of constipation symptoms after intervention, the comparison between the four groups was statistically significant(P<0.05)except for the plantar warm compress group and the sesame oil group(P>0.05).The total score of constipation symptoms in the plantar warm compress combined with sesame oi group was lower than the other three groups.(3)The percentage improvement of the four groups of patients had statistical differences(P<0.05).After the comparison between the groups, there was no significant difference in the percentage improvement between the sesame oil group and the plantar warm compress group(P>0.05).The percentage of improvement in the plantar warm compress combined with sesame oil group was significantly different from the other three groups(P<0.05).The percentage of improvement in the warm compress combined with sesame oil group was higher than the other three groups.(4)There was a statistically significant difference in the time spent on first constipation after intervention in the four groups(P < 0.05).After comparison between,There is no statistical difference between the groups Constipation routine care group and the plantar warm compress group(P> 0.05).The plantar warm compress group combined with sesame oil group was statistically different from the other three groups(P<0.05),that is,the plantar compress combined with sesame oil can shorten the time spent on defecation more than the other three groups.(5)The interval between two bowel movements after the intervention of the four groups of patients was compared with statistical differences(P<0.05).After the comparison between the groups, the interval between two bowel movements after intervention in the four groups was statistically different(P<0.05),and the interval between the plantar warm compress and sesame oil group was shorter than that of the other three groups.(6)The first defecation time after intervention in the four groups was compared with Statistical difference(P <0.05).After comparison between groups,There is no statistical difference between plantar warm compression group(P>0.05),and the plantar warm compress combined with the sesame oil group was statistically different from the other three groups(P<0.05).This group was the first time after intervention The shortest defecation time.(7)The efficacy of the four groups of patients was statistically different after the comparison(P<0.05).After the comparison between the groups, the patients in the plantar warm compress group were statistically different from the other three groups(P<0.05).Intervention measures for this group The effect is better.ConclusionPlantar warm compress combined with sesame oil has better effect than conventional constipation care, sole use of plantar warm compress or sesame oil for fracture patients with constipation. It can promote gastrointestinal motility, moisturize the intestines and relax bowel movements, and is safer,Effective nursing methods.
