Clinical Observation On Acupuncture Combined With Stellate Ganglion Block In The Treatment Of Peripheral Facial Paralysis (Wind Cold Type)

Objective:This study was to observe the difference of clinical efficacy between acupuncture combined with stellate ganglion block(SGB)and simple acupuncture on peripheral facial paralysis(wind cold type),and to explore whether the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with SGB on peripheral facial paralysis(wind cold type)is better than acupuncture.Objective to explore a better and effective treatment scheme for peripheral facial paralysis treated with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine.Methods:A total of 70 patients with peripheral facial paralysis(wind-cold type)were selected according to the case selection criteria,and randomly divided into two groups according to the random table method,namely the observation group(n = 35)and the control group(n = 35).The control group was treated with acupuncture for 6 consecutive days and 1day rest,as a course of treatment,a total of 2 courses.On this basis,the observation group received SGB treatment on the first day of treatment,and the other time was the same as the control group.The changes of clinical symptoms,H-B function evaluation grading,FDI facial disability index score,TCM syndrome score,surface electromyography and other indicators before and after treatment in 2 groups were observed.Results:1.Before treatment,the age,gender,loaction,course of disease,H-B function evaluation grade,average ratio of RMS of each muscle group,FDI score and TCM syndrome score were compared between the two groups respectively,and there was no statistical significance(P>0.05).2.Before and after treatment,the two groups were compared with each other in H-B function grading,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);After treatment,the observation group was better than the control group in the grading of H-B function evaluation,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.The average RMS ratio of each muscle group before and after treatment between the two groups showed statistically significant difference(P < 0.05);After treatment,all values of the two groups were improved,and there was statistical difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).4.The intra-group FDI scores were compared between the two groups before and after treatment,and there was a statistically significant difference(P < 0.01);After treatment,the scores of both groups were improved,and there was statistical difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).5.The scores of TCM syndromes in the two groups were compared before and after treatment,and there was a statistically significant difference(P < 0.01);After treatment,the scores of both groups were improved,and there was statistical difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).6.After treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was 93.94%,which was higher than that of the control group(84.38%),and there was a statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.SGB combined with acupuncture and simple acupuncture has its therapeutic effect in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis(wind cold type).2.The H-B function evaluation grade,surface electromyography index,TCM syndrome score,body and social function of FDIP and FDIS were improved in both groups.And SGB combined with acupuncture group had better curative effect.The curative effect of SGB combined with acupuncture in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis(wind cold type)is higher than that of acupuncture.
