The Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Acne In Teenagers (Syndrome Of Spleen-Stomach Damp-heat) With Zhiyin Wendan Decoction

Obj ective:To observe the effect of Zhiyin Wendan Decoction in the treatment of acne in teenagers with the syndrome of spleen-stomach damp-heat,and discuss the advantages of TCM and provide the basis for clinical effect development.Methods:72 acne teenagers were randomly divided into 2 groups of the test one or the control one.There were 36 teenagers each group.These teenagers had visited outpatient department from January 2020 to January 2021,in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine.The test group was given Zhiyin W endan Decoction for 4 weeks,and the control group was given Xiaocuo Pills for 4 weeks.Record the scores of skin lesion,TCM syndrome,specific quality of life and the whole effect.Record the recurrence rate after 3 months-follow up.SPSS25.0 was used for data analysis.Results:1.Based on test ofchi-square or rank sum,it showed no significant difference in acne teenagers’ ages,genders and states of condition between the two groups,which was comparable(P>0.05).2.In groups:Calculated(P<0.05),with statistics significance in comparison of scores of skin lesions,specific quality of life before and 4 weeks after treatment;and the whole syndrome effect,main or secondary symptoms of TCM before treatment and 2,4 weeks after treatment.Both made sense in treatment.3.Between groups:Calculated(P>0.05),with no statistics significance in comparison of scores of the whole syndrome effect,main symptoms of TCM(skin lesions and changes in appearance,condition of oily skin)or secondary symptoms of TCM(bitter taste orhalitosis,condition of defecation or urination)before treatment and 2 weeks after treatment;Calculated(P<0.05),with statistics significance in comparison of scores of main symptoms of TCM(Itchy skin)and secondary symptomsof TCM(anorexia).Calculated(P<0.05),with statistics significance in comparison of scores of whole scores 4 weeks after treatment,except for main symptoms of TCM(Itchy skin)and secondary symptoms of TCM(condition of urination)and specific quality of life in early adolescence.It made sense in most part of aspects in this period for Zhiyin Wendan Decoction than Xiaocuo Pills.4.Total effective rate:With statistics significance between the test group(88.89%)and the control group(73.53%).Zhiyin Wendan Decoction has better effects than the Xiaocuo Pills.5.Recurrence rate:With no statistics significance(P>0.05)on Fisher’s exact test between the two groups(25.00%,50.00%).Conclusion:1.Zhiyin Wendan Decoction,has better effects than Xiaocuo Pills,for acne in teenagers with the syndrome of spleen-stomach damp-heat.2.Zhiyin Wendan Decoction,has better effects than Xiaocuo Pills,for acne in teenagers with the syndrome of spleen-stomach damp-heat,in aspects of main symptoms of TCM(skin lesions and changes in appearance,condition of oily skin)and secondary symptomsof TCM(bitter taste orhalitosis,indigestion and loss of appetite,and condition of defecation).3.Zhiyin Wendan Decoction,has better effects than Xiaocuo Pills in aspects of acne-specific quality of life,for acne in teenagers with the syndrome of spleen-stomach damp-heat.
