Objectives:Through the clinical symptoms, physical signs, tongue and pulse of 180 children with anorexia,to analyze the constitution, syndrome types and the characteristics and correlation of the syndromes of children with anorexia in traditional Chinese medicine,so as to provide evidence support for the clinical diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the disease. Methods:Collect 180 cases of children with anorexia, using a cross-sectional questionnaire survey method, filled out by family members and children themselves or after being asked by investigators to fill in the "Information Recording Form for Children with Anorexia Cases" and "Physique Analysis Form for Children with Anorexia",and Experienced clinicians will determine the types of syndromes and syndromes in children, and the types of children’s physique.Use Excel to establish a database, and use SPSS25.0 statistical software for statistical analysis of the obtained data. Results:In 180 children with anorexia,106 were males and 74 were females. The ratio of male to female was 1.432:1.Among the collected cases, the youngest was 2 years old and the oldest was 12 years old.The age distribution is mostly 2 to 3 years old, accounting for 30.56%,followed by 4 to 5 years old, accounting for 27.22%,and 6 to 7 years old, accounting for 25%.The age of onset was mostly from 2 to 7 years old,and the most common cases were those with a course of 1 year or more, accounting for 57.22%,followed by 1 to 3 months, accounting for 20.56%.The incidence of anorexia in children was the most in May,June and July, accounting for 17.22%,20.56% and 26.11% respectively. The most common type of TCM syndrome of anorexia is the deficiency of spleen and stomach, accounting for 47.22% in85 cases;the second is the syndrome of spleen insufficiency, accounting for 18.89%;the syndrome of dampness evil trapping the spleen is the least, accounting for 7.78%.In the combined type, the heat-trapping syndrome accounted for the highest proportion, accounting for 36.11%,followed by the wet-trapping and stagnating syndromes. The type of physique is mainly composed of calm constitution,qi deficiency constitution, yin deficiency constitution, and idiosyncratic constitution, which are 26.11%,22.78%,22.22%,and 20.56% respectively;Yang deficiency and phlegm dampness are the least, accounting for 3.89% and 4.44%.Correlation between TCM constitution types and syndrome types in children with anorexia:calm quality is related to spleen failure and healthy movement syndrome;Qi deficiency quality is related to spleen failure to strengthen movement syndrome and spleen and stomach Qi deficiency syndrome;Yang deficiency quality is related to spleen and stomach Qi deficiency syndrome;Yin deficiency quality It is related to the syndrome of spleen and stomach qi deficiency, spleen and stomach yin deficiency syndrome, and liver qi invading the stomach;idiosyncratic quality is related to spleen and stomach qi deficiency syndrome and dampness trapping the spleen syndrome;phlegm-dampness is related to dampness evil trapping the spleen syndrome;anorexia syndrome type and concurrent syndromes.Relevance:The spleen insufficiency and health movement syndrome is related to the syndrome of dampness and stagnation;the syndrome of spleen and stomach qi deficiency is related to the syndrome of heat and cold;the syndrome of spleen and stomach yin deficiency is related to the syndrome of dampness;the syndrome of dampness in the spleen is related to the syndrome of dampness; The syndrome of liver-qi invading the stomach is related to the syndrome of carrying heat.Conclusion:1.The traditional Chinese medicine physique of children with anorexia from 2 to 12 years old is dominated by idiosyncratic qualities, followed by calmness,qi deficiency, yin deficiency, and yang deficiency and phlegm-dampness the least.2.The most common type of TCM syndrome of anorexia is spleen and stomach qi deficiency, followed by spleen insufficiency, and less dampness in the spleen.3.The TCM constitution type of children with anorexia is related to the TCM syndrome type of anorexia.4.The TCM syndrome types of anorexia are related to the concurrent syndromes. |
