Abstract/Summary:
Objective:In this study,we choose shallow acupuncture with three rows at Jingjin to treat central facial paralysis after stroke under the guidance of the theory of Chinese and Western medicine, combined with the clinical experience of my tutor. We compared the improvement of facial nerve and social life function by two treatment methods to evaluate the efficacy and advantages of shallow acupuncture with three rows at Jingjin in the treatment of central facial paralysis after stroke, aiming to provide a more effective acupuncture method for the treatment of central facial paralysis after stroke and provide a new idea for the treatment of central facial paralysis. Methods:Participants in this study came from patients who attended the Acupuncture Department of the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2019 to December 2020.According to the pre-established inclusion criteria,72 patients were finally included, and they were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, with 36 patients each. The treatment group mainly used shallow acupuncture with three rows at Jingjin, and the control group used conventional acupuncture. Both groups of patients were treated once a day,5 days of treatment a from Monday to Friday,2 days off,1month was a course of treatment. The curative effect is observed and evaluated after 3 courses. Both groups of patients were evaluated and analyzed by the H-B Scale,Sunnybrook Toronto Scale, and FDI before and after treatment. We use SPSS21.0 statistical analysis software to compare the clinical efficacy of the two groups.Measurement datas conforming to normal distribution and meeting the neat variance use t test, and the result is expressed as ? X±S.Counting data were tested by chi-square test.Rank sum test was used for clinical grade data. The standard α=0.05,P<0.05 is considered statistically significant.Results:1 A total of 72 patients with central facial paralysis were included in this study.3 cases fell off in all,1 case in the three rows acupuncture group and 2 cases in another group, both of which fell off due to personal reasons.Finally,69 cases were included,35 cases were in the treatment group, and 34 cases were in the control group, and the dropout rate was less than15%.Analyze and compare the general information of the two groups before treatment. If P>0.05,we think the difference is not statistically significant, and the two groups are comparable.2 Comparison of Sunnybrook Toronto Scale after treatment: The Toronto facial nerve scores of the two groups of patients were improved compared with before, with significant difference(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment methods of both have curative effect.Compared with the control group, the shallow acupuncture with three rows at Jingjin treatment group improved the facial nerve function score more significantly(P<0.05).3 Comparison of FDI scores after treatment: After treatment, the FDI physical function scores were all improved, and FDI social function scores were all decreased.Shows that both groups of patients have relieved symptoms compared to before(P<0.05),the difference was significant. That is,from the perspective of patients’ subjective feelings, both treatments could improve the quality of life of patients, but the improvement effect of the treatment group was more obvious.4 Comparison of clinical efficacy based on H-B Scale:In the treatment group,30 cases were clinical effective, and only 5 cases were ineffective, with a total clinical effective rate of85.71%.In the control group,21 cases were clinical effective, and 13 cases were ineffective. The rate was 61.76%.Chi-square test showed that P=0.03<0.05,indicating that the overall efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group. The results showed that the shallow acupuncture with three rows at Jingjin method was more effective than common in remession the symptoms of central facial paralysis. Conclusion:The treatment of central facial paralysis after stroke by shallow acupuncture with three rows at Jingjin has a better overall effect, and is more effective than the conventional treatment group. It can significantly improve the patient’s facial nerve function and social life disorders caused by central facial paralysis. It improved the patient’s quality of life.It provides a simple and effective treatment method for the clinical treatment of central facial paralysis after stroke.
